- This South Thailand motorbike tour has been magnificent. There is so much to see in the south of Thailand! Join me for the final episode of the South Thailand Motorbike Tour. Today I share some night markets, several beautiful wildlife destinations, as well as another stunning sky walk. The biggest treat, at least for me, was that I finally got to see Capybara up close. They are such interesting looking animals. This 3 week journey has been amazing and, due to the severe heat, quite challenging. My trusty Honda ADV 160 held up perfectly well on this 2700 km motorbike trip. Stay tuned to the end as I will share my final thoughts, tips and tricks from the south Thailand motorbike trip.

Great series thx for putting them together. I’m only 35 but planning an early retirement to enjoy life like this in my fav country in the world.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thkx Khun Serg for the marvellous tour down south.
I hope you enjoyed it. A new, international, trip starts in less than 10 days.
@@LifewithSerg i enjoyed it very very much Serg. Where you go next or is it the million dollaer question?
You will know next week. 😊 not a motorbike trip. 🛫
@@LifewithSerg Excellent Serg. Looking forward to it.
Suratthani is nice very local authentic life. I went there just a year after COVID19 and saw many shophouses converted into the swiflets Condo. They have so many around town and near river.... You can hear their sounds and big big groups flying in the air at evening. Amazing! ❤❤❤😊😊
Yes I will need to go back and explore more. Such a nice area.
Thanks
Woo hooo. More 7-11 waters! Thank you!
That mango and sticky rice for 20 baht was amazing! Great video and that market looked so good.
Oh yah. I actually ate 2 of them. Was so effen delicious.
Best mangos in the world I think
Thanks Serg ,another great motorbike tour.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Serg has reached his destination save and sound😊 we have been using Agoda since we live in Thailand 👍 have a save trip home!
Thank you so much for your support
This has been an awesome tour Serg. I'm almost sad it's come to an end. Thanks for sharing it with us. 😊
It was a great trip! New trip next week.
Serg, you are always so entertaining! Your childlike excitement about natures creatures, the subtle sarcasm and the fact that you always keep it real. I really enjoy watching these adventures.
“Childlike excitement“ I think that really describes me perfectly. I’m so happy you enjoy my silly videos. I’ve got an international trip coming up in less than 10 days.
Serg is living the dream!!
More like sweating the dream. Lol.
Thanks for sharing this entire motorbike tour with us. I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.
Glad you enjoyed it! More coming next week.
I admire your dedication to touring at this time of year. I'm a wimp and only travel in late November to early February. Really enjoy the videos.
It was extremely hot. Fortunately I have ridden many times in such heat in California. Happy you enjoyed the trip.
Nice Serg! I enjoyed this series. It's clear you're a wise and competent motorcycle traveler. I'm off next week to Kanchanaburi and Sanklaburi for short trip hopefully with a bit cooler temps. Cheers and look forward to your next 2 wheel adventure.
Kanchanaburi is great! Lots of WW2 memorial and sites. I really liked it there. Enjoy!
Truly spectacular views of your trip down south Serg.....the ride under the heat and the Bota Wildlife park is an interesting adventure.. a big landscapes and the tower views, suspension bridges 🌉 offer a wider range of sights frkm the top...wonderful...the market place just outside Surat Thani is itself destination for foods and others shopping 🛍 😀 lastly, your tips on the motorbike trip ae very useful for many, if not most of us...the hotel room may be obtained from for walk in customers and Agoda can be a viable option...thanks Serg for sharing this trip with us and we hope you have a pleasant trip home to Bangkok...🎉😂
I had a wonderful time on this three week journey. I’m so happy to have been able to share many of these places with all of you. Again, I appreciate your support as always. Thank you very much!
South of Thailand weather is not too hot as bad as the rest of Thailand, I hope 🤔 at this time. Hope you enjoy your ride 🏍 and have a safe travels 😊
I had a great trip. I am safely back in Bangkok.
Love your videos. So different
Yay! Thank you!
My legs were actually tingling when you were on those suspension bridges. No chance I could do that.
Yeah they shake quite a bit.
Great extended video series! Informative and entertaining all in one.
Glad you enjoyed it!
A tale of Serg and Capybara 😂
Great video, thoroughly enjoyed
They are fascinating creatures.
Loved this video as always! Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏻 Stay safe ☺️
Thanks so much!!
What an amazing trip ...of this beautiful country.
I really did have a great time! A new, international, trip starts in less than 10 days.
Wish you happiness ❣️☺️❣️🎉
Thank you!
great video series, enjoyed them all. I'm guessing you're on your next bike tour, stay safe, don't run into any bad food this time....Matt in Scottsdale
Hey Matt! The next trip will involve quite a few airplanes and rental cars. Excited to visit friends and family.
There're still a lot of places worth visiting in the western coast. Now rain is coming and it's time for the north except durian fans.
You are correct
Nice video Serg! The wetlands you went to looked very cool.
Yeah so peaceful!
I plan to visit my cousins in Song Kla this coming July. It’s my dads hometown, and I haven’t been there in over 20 years. I’m sure a lot has changed.
I hope you have a wonderful time revisiting an old place. Remember the old, but embrace the new.
@@LifewithSerg amen thank you for that! I’m very excited yet nervous at the same time to see my family. I’m sure it will be fine as we all last saw and spoke to each other on good terms.
Excellent trip!
Many thanks!
Looks like a great time!! Im guessing you’re not a beach person. lol. Keep the vids coming.
I do like the beach. I had 3 weeks to enjoy the beach. I don’t show everything I do on my trips.
love your energy
It was hot. I’m shocked I had any left. Lol. 🤣
It is always a pleasure to watch your adventures. Thanks for sharing, Serg.
I’m happy to take you all along. New international adventure next week!
Great trip Serg. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Glad you enjoyed it, I had a blast.
Thanks for the video's of your trip. If you ever head East of Bangkok, in the Chachoengsao Province there's a place called Scrap Metal Art Thailand that i think you would enjoy.
I just looked it up. Looks fantastic, definitely added it to my Google maps. Thank you!
We already had a 107F day here in the RGV part of Texas but our summer "normal" high is often 100-102F, Hot it Hot, my wife even requested I drive her car the last few weeks of school at South Texas College, because of the heat. *kept me off my Kawasaki Versys X300 a few days.
I’ll be back in my old stomping grind of Austin in a few weeks. I remember the heat!
@@LifewithSerg Ahh, Austin, the cool Central Highlands of Texas (Hill country), only about six hours drive north/ We visit Grandbabies there at times.
cool videos from your trip around the south! Pranburi is my favourite place for sure hehe
The best!
I really appreciate this kind of videos! And you seem to have a very good time as well! Can’t wait until next video. 😊 Btw have you been having any of the famous problems with the keyless system on your bike? Some people have big problems to even start the bike and some have never had any issues what so ever. Keep up the good work and positive vibes! 😊
Glad you enjoyed the trip. As I mentioned one of the videos, I was at one remote temple, and I could not start the bike at all. I could not turn the ignition key. After pressing the unlock and lock buttons on the remote, I eventually got it to work. But that is the only time I’ve had a problem with it.
Wow Nice vlog ❤🙏🙏🙏
Thanks a lot!
Hi Serg, what a beautiful tour you've taken us on. The hotel's that you've stayed in have been really nice. The gas was definitely outrageous. 8:29
It was a great trip. Glad yon enjoyed it!
Too bad you didn't make it to the old city of Songkhla (where I live now). There are some very interesting things here. Well, maybe the next trip?
Ride safely, good luck and god bless you. 😊🙏
I will definitely come back and explore more. This was just a cursory exploration trip.
😎👍🇺🇲
I feel your pain brother.
It's a blistering 72* F in the PNW today. So hot I had to take my jacket off.😏
😆
Just like a marshmallow gets used to the campfire. You'll get used to the heat.........and turn brown then get crispy and eventually catch fire.
Ha ha ha. Blistering 72°. I’ll be back in the states for a trip very shortly. I’m looking forward to the cooler weather.
"It is hot as balls out here". Now that's a term I've never heard of before! 😂😂 I recently saw a video by Greeny on Phu Quac, Vietnam. That Island looks rather empty but they have interesting new European style structures with cable cars. If you like non-crowded people on top of people spots, this may be just the place for you. Also, it's quite cheap. USD$2.75 for a bowl of crab meat noodles plus fireworks and shows every night at the Pavillion. Looks and sounds like a winner to me!
Yeah, I still need to make it over to Vietnam. Definitely looks very interesting.
@LifewithSerg - Apparently, a visa isn't required at all if you fly into the island directly for a short stay. Night life is no good. Fancy hotels are expensive, but new developments such as Sunset Town are dirt cheap the delicious sugarcane drink is sold everywhere!
Southern Thai motorists are the worst compared to BKK or Northern Thais. They are really a special bunch where the feeling of invincibility seems to be their main faith.
Thanks for the video. Keep at it, and you should do an Isaan ride to the east next time.
I’ve been through 38 provinces in Thailand. Thai motorists are the worst drivers and motorbike riders I have ever experienced of the many countries that I’ve been to and have driven in. It’s not the southern Thailand thing, it’s all of Thailand. Although the Chinese are probably much worse as a whole
Serg, you missed out on very interesting locations in Songkla province. Examples are Songkla old town, Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol (only full Stainless steel Pagoda in Thailand), etc. You also didn’t eat the famous Hat Yai chicken. You should go back another time to Songkla province.
There is always going to be something to be missed. But to be honest with you, the heat was definitely intense, so at that point, I was just over it and spent the next five days just slowly coming back to Bangkok and enjoying myself.
I should have recommended points of interest in Songkhla and Hatyai when I have a chance. 😢😢😢
There’s no way for me to see everything in one trip. I’ll come back again.
Serg, for some reason YT did the unsub on me (with you)... might want to remind others. Also, happy to see you living the best life, free of these western... nevermind! Wish I was doing it myself, but I'm 50 and only a few hundred K, no prospect of fixed yet. Keep living that dream tho! Hopefully its not ruined by the time I can get there.
You’re not the first person to say you were unsubscribed. That’s kind of strange. Just keep working towards your goal, I’m sure you will hit it.
Not trigger because I have been to Thailand over a two month period and my Thai lady and myself have scene bad driving and crazy driving.
Yah it’s quite bad. 😂
Oh last one 😢
For now! New international adventure starts in less than 10 days
Lost With Serg, Episode 7 "Hot As Balls"
Lmao. Should have named it that. Lol
Hi Serg love you're videos. Like you I travel Thailand on my motorbike. I've been to every province and every city . Good to see you wear all the proper gear not like these idiots who do the mhs loop in teeshirts shorts and sometimes no helmet . Just interested to know what camera and microphone gear you use
Yeah. Better sweat than dead. Lol. I’ve always worn gear since I started riding 30 years ago. I’m just so used to it. I use my iPhone 13 Pro Max for all my videos. On the motorbike videos I will once in a while also use my Insta360 ONE RS 1 inch camera. My mic setup is the original DJI Wireless Mic system. I try to keep my gear as simple as possible. No drones, no gimbals, etc. Every province and every city?! 😳 wow, that is so cool!
Awesome channel man. Curious how do you record your audio while driving? It’s surprisingly clear
I use a DJI wireless microphone set up which works great. Once in a while I will do some audio correction in post production if needed.
@@LifewithSerg cool thanks for your response!
When you're starting opening mention on bike, I can see your red sweat face then realize how hot there is. Hopefully you Enjoy your trip. Thanks videos, and take care, sir.
It was very hot, but I had a very good time.
Serb, I want to do a bike trip at some point, prob Mae Hong Song. I am a very experienced rider, have always rented bikes in last 2 years in Thai but mechanically I am useless! Is it easy to get help should I get into any difficulty? Great Content Sir 🙏🏼👍
Just don’t rent anything exotic. I would highly recommend a brand that is made domestically, like Honda. I wouldn’t go touring the country on a Ducati or anything like that. I actually have a whole motorbike series from Mae Hong Son. Take a look.
Serg how do you wash your clothes while traveling?
I probably should’ve mentioned that in the end of the video.
I just wash them in the hotel room in the evening and hang them out to dry. There’s always laundry services, but I find that this is the easiest method.
@@LifewithSerg Some places have street laundry too .. for 10 baht ..look for it , maybe helpful to you
You like April is the hottest month in Thailand and you are going to Southern part of Thailand that mean you getting closer to the Equator Line bro more closer you are is will be hotter.
Yes it was very hot. Ha ha. I enjoyed the trip, but was a bit rough.
@@LifewithSerg I know bro im born and race in Yala Province
I can feel the 🥵
So hot!! 🤣
Oh geezzzz 🤦🏻♀️ “hot as balls” ?
Lmao
I believe you Khun Serg ! You are very HOT ja 😂❤
Lollll. Thanks. 😊
Zerg mate stop moaning about the heat of you don't like the heat go to Greenland 👍
I don’t think you understand what it takes to do a three week motorbike trip and film Contant in the hottest month of the year. Just trying to convey to people how hot it is. Not everyone lives in Thailand and they don’t know how hot it gets. ✌️
@@LifewithSerg your right I don't know what it's like to do a 3 week tour, I wish I had the means to do it. But appreciate what your saying, love your videos and do enjoy them. 👍
Say free Palestine mr serg, say no to KFC 😊🇵🇸🇵🇸
Free the hostages.
Series เที่ยวภาคใต้สนุกมากครับ !
Yes it is!
