It changes everything, he is jumping a gap each time. Much more difficult to do, as the guy said in the video the lip gives you point of reference and that was missing. Alot of practice and preperation required. It also looks a hell of alot cooler to most of us, which I guess is the whole point in Ski Halfpipe, doing stuff that looks COOL!
