The engineers at koken are obsessed with retention and that's what makes them top tier in my opinion. Thanks for sharing

Koken is definitely not talked about enough they are top notch engineers and manufacturing

A little blue painters tape wrapped around that Gearwrench socket might tighten the plastic sleeve up.

I originally purchased the Hazet Germany wheel nut sockets but they’re too thick for my Subaru so I just ordered the Koken thin wall with sleeve.

Those Z-series sockets look great. I like the colour coding of the longer Ko-ken's. Very handy.

I forgot to mention that both the long impact sockets and the Z-series share the same color-coding. 👍

I like the those Koken but with the length of standard non flex torque wrenches you may have knuckle clearance issues. I dont a dedicated wheel socket 'should' require extensions. Like the videos, would live too peek inside your tool box one day.

Yes, I wish they came in a more 'standard' 80mm length.

I guess if they're designed for the speed brace from koken they don't need to be so long.. Might be why they're shorter

Do you exclusively use japanese tools? or is there still room for snap on and everything else?

    • @chriscas-ToolAficionado

Not exclusively, but maybe around 80% of my hardline tools are made in Japan. The rest is a mishmash of US, Europe, and other Asian brands.

Once you have discovered Japanese tools you tend to want to use only Japanese tools!
