- First time in Japan since November 2019!
I present to you my entire tool haul from this trip, which comprised of both online and in-store purchases.
A special thanks goes to Mr. Takahashi, the store manager, at the Factory Gear store in Tennoz Isle, Tokyo, and to Mr. Takanokura, the director of FG, for taking their time to meet with me. I'm looking forward to going back again soon!

Very interesting selections. I really appreciate the travel tips too. I must go shopping in Japan someday. I must check my cat's claw to see if I can find that logo on it. I much appreciate all your knowledge of the manufacturers. So Wiha markets some items by KoKen, so interesting. Fun stuff. Thank you.
Yay!!!! Finally a new vid!
Yay!
I and I think a lot of your viewers would like to know how to order tools from Japan. If you could devote a video, or portion of a video explaining how to purchase tools from Japan, I think it would be well received.
Amazing haul I was listening attentively to the koken whiha story it was very interesting I appreciate the conversation. Loved the ending I paused it and looked all over what a treat!! Thank you, Chris, for sharing I have a curiosity about usag and faccom, Stanley I'm still wondering which one is manufacturing. Great video thanks!
I had just discovered your channel not too long ago and have watched a bunch of your videos, I was wondering if you were ever going to upload again. What a pleasant surprise.

Nice haul! I didn’t even realize the video was 30 minutes in until you mentioned it. Sounds like you had a great trip!

Great tool haul. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting selection. All the best for the hols.
Hi ChrisCas ! Looks like you and I were there almost around the same time. I met with Takahashi San, however Takanokura San had just recently returned from a European trip. He wasn't at the Tennoz Isle store when I went there. Well I'm sure next year when I return ! I had the pleasure of shopping at the Hakata, Namba, & Tennoz Isle FG stores, along with a host of other places across Japan.
I'm not sure if it's cross-discipline applicable but in the cycling world, the Asahi wrench you show at around
thanks for sharing love seeing unique tools. mirror w hidden pen lmao
Loved the video
Just a heads up, if you want the 'plastic' razor blades you can get them from Lee Valley Tools, in at least two levels of hardness. Probably cheaper than importing...
Beautiful hammer.
The hose cutter looks almost identical (but a better quality moulding) to one I bought for cutting hydraulic brake hose on bikes. As random as it might be I'd be very interested to know more!
