They have accompanied me all my adult life, I am 63, their music has seen me in my best and worst moments. I didn't go to their last concert in my country, I had the ticket and I didn't go, I knew that people wouldn't understand an old man crying at a POP concert. Too many memories, too many absent people with whom I used to go to his shows. It's true, when you get old, sometimes, you get sentimental. Thanks for the music, you guys are great
What a pity you didn't go to the concert. The last one I went to - in Prague - was fantastic, and guess what? So many people around 60! What a great mix of PSB fans of all ages, including very young ones! Can't think of many other acts with such an impact! ❤
Come on, man. All of us Petheads will be your age soon. Please, go out and cry as much as your heart desires. Don't hold back. If life is worth living/it's got to be done
I'll be 60 this year and I've been a fan since West End Girls. Never felt the urge of crying at one of their concerts, but should it ever happen, I won't be ashamed. "Loneliness" is classic Pet Shop boys, there's so much in the lyrics and the video I can relate to and it's stirring memories which make me quite sentimental. Absolutely love the song!

Absolutely! Totally agree. Let‘s also enjoy the fact, that they are still able to crank out fantastic music with often great lyrics. Their quality never suffered over the years, in contrast to many other aging groups. Neil Tennant is indeed almost 70, Chris Lowe will turn 65 this year…and they can produce the grooviest dance tunes with ease if they feel like it.

I have my dad to thank for introducing me to the Pet Shop Boys, I may only be 19 but I feel such a connection to so many of their songs (and it continues with this one as well), and i just can't wait to see them live in June this year
I’d like to underline: hundreds of beautiful songs, actual hits they are incomparable in this fields(creating lovely melodies). So it’s just rediculois to compare them with DM, with their only worth listening album “Violator”, Erasure, with his “I love to hate you”, “Always”, “I love Saturdays” - that’s it. Only “Modern Talking” created a close number of good melody hits but Dieter Bohlen did nothing about arrangements of his songs: they all the same. In case with Pet shop boys it’s a tremendous work!
I have been and I always will be a huge Erasure fan, yet I have to say their recent records are not that great... Love them anyway. Such sweethearts. Love PSB too. But it is actually OMD who have been producing great songs and albums through the years and even now. In my opinion, there is the greatest flow of energy at OMD gigs by far. DM is nostalgia, used to be great music, Memento Mori is not a bad record at all, but the musical spirit is gone long time ago.
I have been a fan for almost 40 years and still feel like their music is directly connected to my life. Loneliness is a major theme of my life these days so this song is very impactful to me.
This song gives me that feeling like when you finally meet an old good friend after who knows how many years. You know him in the depths of your soul, but at the same time, you don't know him anymore... and somehow you're at home. Pure art...
As a gay man that grew up in Sheffield (albeit one that didn't frequent public toilets (no judgement)) during the 90's, who caught the bus from crystal peaks to Killamarsh, this song resonates so much. Can't stop listening ❤

Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode are untouchable, nothing else compares. Absolute quality sound with everything they release. Neil, Chris, I love you dudes.
Another perfect example of the extremely hypocritical and sad society in which we live immersed through the visual and musical exquisiteness of the Pet Shop Boys, who seem to return to their wonderful and melancholic beginnings. Thank you I needed to feel again that authentic sound of those times in the past when mobile phones were not necessary to realize our sorrowful loneliness. 10/10
My big brother got me into the Pet Shop Boys when i was about 15, im now 50 and seen them so many times. Even my 24 year old son loves them (he did listen to their music lots on school runs etc). Amazing that they are still producing beauties like this! Video shot in my home town of Sheffield too 😊❤

I have loved you guys since the beginning the soundtrack of my life. I'm 57 in July this year you guys have never let us down in all that you have done. This song speaks to me once again and very relatable I had a ticket too see you guys but didn't go due to me not being in a happy place at the time. Thanks Neil and thanks Chris for being there for all these years all I can say you mean so much to me and millions of other people out there the greatest music act ever. I have seen them about 20 times only sadly in the Uk first time Birmingham july 14th 1989 it made me more hooked than anyone else just pure brilliance so diverse in audience attendance i have met people in their late 60s at their concerts all dressed up in gear never again will i miss their concerts but none in the foreseeable future for me.
I saw them years ago here in Detroit Michigan, USA 🇺🇸 back in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s. I’m not sure. Because it was a long time ago. That said..I’m a lifelong fan. This song 🎧 is amazing. I’m not at all surprised.
Good lord in July I too will be 57 , and since they’ve been on the scene I’ve been all PET SHOP BOYS Fan! I’m From NY and they always were fundamental to WLIR, which then changed to WDRE . In 1986 I joined USAF and been around the world and they’ve been with me since, great mood changer for the tough times that we’ve had since that time. Love you guys!
I'm literally obsessed! Best PSB since "Can You Forgive Her" in my personal life anyways. Their music is so necessary - through every decade of my life they have made these nuggets of necessity and I love them for it.
Pet Shop Boys is back in town So elegant way to describes Loneliness An “in denial” path to shows how hard is try to live a life what you do not wanted,it must be hard to realize that Pet Shop Boys returning to give us masterpieces Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱

I cannt stop listenning to this masterpiece. Most touching from Being Boring. A VERY Pet Shop Boys song. And the Boys sre so Handsome and so sad in the video. I hope to see them again on July 2nd in Prague. Thissongs brings up so many memories of all their concerts in Dresden, Leipzig and Karlovy Vary and all the people i was there with. Their music is with me all my life,

One of the best Pet Shop Boys songs ever! It is modern yet sprinkled with nods to the past and nods to the future. 40 years in and they are still delivering top tier music. Nobody does it like Neil and Chris. Long may they reign! ❤❤
dark melancholic but fragile beautiful!!! great songwriting!!! great work!!! 再結成したTears For Fearsはローランド・オーザバルと カート・スミスの才能が80年代全盛期と変わらず 感動しましたがPSBも同じですね。
As a fan since being introduced to Introspective on vinyl by a high school buddy, I have been ever amazed and humbled how PSB continue to maintain their signature sound but remaining fresh and current with each studio album release. To borrow the following lyrics from Its Alright to commemorate the debut of Loneliness - "I hope it's gonna be alright 'Cause the music plays forever (For it goes on and on and on and on...)" Long Live PSB!!! 🎉❤🎉❤🎉

Been a fan since "West End Girls" and "Opportunities". I have everything they have released and seen them several times over the years. Neil and Chris never disappoint and always have great material. There's always been a somewhat melancholy undertone to what they do. This song is quite striking and in line with everything else. It's dark sound reenforces the lyrics. Looking forward to the rest of the album.
I've always liked the Pet Shop Boys sooo much. The choirboy voice of Neil Tennant and the melancholy in their tunes attributes to this music a religious moment that is irrestible and unique.
It's amazing that after so many years I still loving your amazing music. Thank you so very much for all the countless hours that I have enjoyed your music, in some way you have been a part of my life. I do love you.

I loved their songs all my life. It's been almost like 30 years or more. That lonely sad voice with sweetness combined with electric sound. No one can even be close to them. Only PSB can. Thank you. There was a time when I was really having a hard time. The only thing made me from keep on going was to wait for your new album to be released.

2024 and still putting out music like this? The Pet Shop Boys are veteran musical genius's. I had the opportunity to see them live in concert in Miami...what an amazing experience! Thank you PSB for sharing your audio artistry with the rest of the world for over 40 years!!
Yep 😊
Good lord in July I too will be 57 , and since they’ve been on the scene I’ve been all PET SHOP BOYS Fan! I’m From NY and they always were fundamental to WLIR, which then changed to WDRE . In 1986 I joined USAF and been around the world and they’ve been with me since, great mood changer for the tough times that we’ve had since that time. Love you guys!

I am speechless… Does it have to be so perfect? Thank you
The Pet Shop Boys are the best, after many decades they still have fresh ideas and wonderful music, I can't wait for the full album to come out :)
I'm literally obsessed! Best PSB since "Can You Forgive Her" in my personal life anyways. Their music is so necessary - through every decade of my life they have made these nuggets of necessity and I love them for it.
An immediate PSB classic! So good.❤🔥 So happy for a new PSB album to come out in 2024!!!
Yep 😊
These lads just keep producing great tunes.... In fact they just get better.....A fan forever...
Pet Shop Boys is back in town
So elegant way to describes Loneliness
An “in denial” path to shows how hard is try to live a life what you do not wanted,it must be hard to realize that
Pet Shop Boys returning to give us masterpieces
Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
Are, not is
Funnily enough I told Neil once that I think In Denial is the most dreary thing they ever recorded. He didn't seem amused. This is a genuine banger.
Yep 😊
長い期間ブレない音楽性が素晴らしい。

ずっと大ファンです🌟
Forty years later, and Pet Shop boys are still coming out with the best sad gay bangers. 💔
And it's the petheads who are there to watch and support them!
Así es ❤
well. this is not so gay, it's more bi. true gay never mess with girl. it's impossible. so there's Pet Shop Boys as usual. trying to seat on both seats at the same time.
Long live to the Pet Shop Boys!
Los Pet Shop Boys son el mejor grupo pop de la historia de la música, aún vigentes.
The Pet Shop Boys are the best pop group in the history of music, still current.
A fan since 1985 and they just keep bringing out the bittersweet songs of my life. Tremendous 🙌🏼
Their music is with me all my life,
Happy Valentine's Day, here they are my very favorite love gifts, everybody is invited to love Pets & never let any evil dare to harm you BRITS, fans love youuuuu guys ❤🎉❤
Siempre con la voz hermosa Neil, grandes Pet shop Boys ❤
Never was as happy when heard petshop boys were back with this unreal song just brings me back to 80s and very early 90s heard it on radio 2 they play it a lot great to have the feeling of been back to those happier years when I was younger I'm 50 now
The melody gets etched into your brain and stays there.
Yep 😊

Just superb - so lucky these guys have the drive to keep going and dish up these incredible musical offerings. We the fans are blessed, thank you !
One of the best Pet Shop Boys songs ever! It is modern yet sprinkled with nods to the past and nods to the future. 40 years in and they are still delivering top tier music. Nobody does it like Neil and Chris. Long may they reign! ❤❤
Beautiful song and video ❤️ Forever PSB ❤️
dark melancholic but fragile beautiful!!!
great songwriting!!! great work!!!
再結成したTears For Fearsはローランド・オーザバルと
カート・スミスの才能が80年代全盛期と変わらず
感動しましたがPSBも同じですね。
As a fan since being introduced to Introspective on vinyl by a high school buddy, I have been ever amazed and humbled how PSB continue to maintain their signature sound but remaining fresh and current with each studio album release. To borrow the following lyrics from Its Alright to commemorate the debut of Loneliness - "I hope it's gonna be alright
'Cause the music plays forever
(For it goes on and on and on and on...)"
Long Live PSB!!! 🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Yep 😊
Lovely. First time I felt desperation. Second time, loneliness.
Me encantó!!! Por momentos me hace acordar a So Hard y por momentos a New York City...siempre actuales
Pet shop Boys ....indiscutibles los números uno!!!!
40 years of Pet shop boys❤
Yep 😊
I've always liked the Pet Shop Boys sooo much. The choirboy voice of Neil Tennant and the melancholy in their tunes attributes to this music a religious moment that is irrestible and unique.
Wasn't too keen when I first heard this, 10 days later it's finally growing on me. Record of the week on Radio 2 has helped I think.

Pet Shop Boys elevates "Being Boring" to the umpteenth power... wonderful!
Wow! Magnificent as always. With Pet Shop Boys, nobody feels Loneliness.
It's amazing that after so many years I still loving your amazing music. Thank you so very much for all the countless hours that I have enjoyed your music, in some way you have been a part of my life. I do love you.
The fact that this late in their career they are still tossing off bangers left and right is amazing.
The video is exquisitely shot.
A+ gents.
The Pet Shop Boys have consistently produced pop gems for more than 4 decades. Bravo! 👏This track is reminiscent of their earlier gem "Between Two Islands", one of my all-time faves.
They are always were good at it
This video and song sets off so many emotions. Pure art!
"Being Boring" vibes. I love these guys so much!
These gentelmen never tire of making masterpieces , Long life PSB!!!, Argentina loves you
