The beauty of banban is not in gameplay nor story nor interesting puzzles the beauty of banban is when matpat and other content creators go collectively insane as this franchise goes on.
As the story gets more unhinged, I loved seeing the reactions. It’s not just random = funny ahah unicorns kind of weird, but like “I wouldn’t have ever seen that coming in a thousand years” kinda of unhinged and seeing everyone react to it makes it even better.
I think appeal is more in the LOOOOORE!!! Then the art style. I mean whoever thought having the same facial expression on a character at all times was a good idea really needs to learn the importance of using other expressions

I think "your creation" just meant the half-built tripwire. The pop-up appeared when you were standing where the rope would go, so it's probably an attempt to prevent instant death when placing the rope.
note that the wording was "in the way of", not the "in front of" that you started using after seeing the prompt

I love that Matt is so wired to find secret lore that he misses the obvious meaning of a simple message.
@@jasontankable "standing in the way of your creation" is pretty grandiose wording, and a tripwire does not have the matching grandeur. It's absolutely not the immediately obvious meaning. But it is the meaning which is the most consistent with the details.
I was so frustrated the whole time, I just kept saying, "move out of the freakin way!"
Still, it's quite a strange way to say "make space for tripwire"
I know I watched a heart wrenching death scene, but I really get the feeling that BG's going to just be alive again next chapter with no explanation given.
I mean, so be fair, we've seen Jumbo Josh survive a huge fall, Banbalina survive getting crushed, and even the mutated baby opila bird getting crushed by a giant hydraulic press of a door and just immediately get up and run off as if nothing happened. Pretty sure a play dough star is nothing to him

Matpat has slowly been driven insane by this series and he and Ash finally reached their limit at the end with the last cutscene. I don't even think he knows what to say anymore. Ash saying she wants to touch dirt after the cutscene is comedic and shows how much brain rot they have gone through because of this game
Let's be real, Mat lost his sanity with Fnaf. Games like BanBan just put more pressure on all the cracks where he tries to keep it together XD
And here I was thinking this was the best banban game yet and might re-install some of Mat’s faith in the franchise.

I dont think its that the makers of Banban are trying to make a scary game anymore 😆They prolly saw how successful their game was by being a comedic mess that they decided to just go with it. Honestly though its kinda fun to watch people play it. 🔥
I still personally think it's a middle finger to YTers (possibly for ignoring thier other games) because the puzzles are purposefully frustrating, the "lore" doesn't make sense, it's jam packed full of fluff and it's so ridiculous that they know the audience is gonna watch which puts pressure on YTers to play. It feels very obvious but idk maybe I'm just donning a tin foil hat

@rosecah ngl I adore watching YTers play the game 😅 its just a fever dream and is so fun if you're high but I half agree. There are amazing games out there that don't get enough attention but also each episode is only really an hour long so idk. I think the creation thing is way more simple. You cannot “create” a tripwire while “standing” in an area where the tripwire triggers. You’re standing in the way of the creation, literally.

"in the way of your creation" was referring to you standing in the way of the trap you were trying to create, not the worms. It needed to lay down the trip wire for the doctor, but couldnt do it since you were standing "in the way of your creation"

I'm just waiting for the finale, where I half expect us to find out there was never any kid, and the main character is actually a givanium critter as well, that everyone is, for some reason, convinced is human, and that has been programmed to 'look for their kid.'
