she's changed a lot throughout the contest process, now you can see she's way more confident, charming and charismatic, and I couldn't be happier for her
congratulations to belgium! imo you guys presented a really cool song at the contest. blanche can stay at my apartment here in lisbon if she wants to watch next years eurovision live
I felt it would be such a shame if she didn't qualify for the final because of her nerves or whatever hit her at that moment on the stage during the semifinal... I always thought she was like a unrefined diamond that could turn into a beautiful gem in the final! Congratulations Belgium!
I'm portuguese but I must say that Belgium was really good. But even tough, I think Portugal deserved the win cause it's much easier to win the euro festival singing in English then in Portuguese.
So there are people here that really think that it isn't easier to win in English then in our native language whatever it may be?! OK, keep mistaken yourself!
Those who think in English can not understand this phrase, because the English language is limited, it would be, "if it were sung in English, it would be even more valuable"
Cláudio Brito there was little hype, Italy had the biggest hype before the competition, Belgium only became super popular on the itunes charts in Europe after the first semi final
The question is indeed whether this very good song and perfectly matching and beautiful voice can "do" on stage; it definitely "does" in a video clip and on radio. The stripped version of this song (only piano) - that one can find on RUclips as well - may have done better on stage (esp. because now it appears that Europe this year likes these kinds of sober versions of songs). But difficult to say/determine in advance. Belgium has been struggling how to present this song on stage, but I think the version during the final on Saturday was good (and what a voice !). Hope we hear more from Blanche and her excellent producers from the Liege band Roscoe.
She definitely lost due to her stage presence. The song was catchy and interesting, and her vocals were in point. A little bit more of confidence would have make her the winner. But it was a great result overall.
Adriaan Camambert I thought in the final she sounded beautiful she was nervous and it showed through her voice in my opinion she should've won because she was so good funny how people hear voices different
Lol, just look at the number of views on the french singer (yeah, the slutty one with her short skirt..) video, and France came 12th... you're a moron. No offense.
I voted because she has a good voice and because she was shy in the semi-finals but more confidant in the finals and I thought that she deserved votes for that

I think it's that she showed humanity by being shy and nervous that won many people's heart. It won mine for sure.
She definitely does not like to talk. I like her.
I guess her english is just not the best, so she's uncertain about what to say
Belgians must be so proud of her.
She was incredible :)
nil erra I'm not even Belgian and I am proud lol
Haha me too.
I'm just so happy for her after mean press trying to destroy her.
we are thanks
I love her voice and the song. I voted for Belgium. Congratulations from Portugal.
Oh, she's not sad!
SOOO HAPPY FOR HER! Amazing my #1 love it! Obviously wished her to win...City lights will always be in my playlist
congratulations to belgium! imo you guys presented a really cool song at the contest. blanche can stay at my apartment here in lisbon if she wants to watch next years eurovision live

Voted for her from Italy. So happy she came 4th!
She tied Loic!

Congratulations Belgium!
well stated Zumba. She did look nervous in the semi.A great job in the final...more confident
Blanche was great, the Song is amazing.
прекрасная, голос, композиция, подача, мы голосовали за тебя, но что-то не то с жюри в этом году(*
yeah, stupid "jurys", neighbouring France, Netherlands and Germany did not give even one point to Belgium. Shame.
haha and belgium didnt gave any points to the Netherlands...
well, in that case, it is justified. the NL song was just plain crap ;)
they did
haha thats ur opinion :)
The Netherlands gave 2 points to Belgium by the Jury vote.
Heh, she is so nice :)
Cute.. She's gonna to sleep
mmm.. joli Blanch!:)
The Good Girl 😛
Sheisstanning
I'm portuguese but I must say that Belgium was really good.

Rubén Valente Yeah because it's so hard to sing in your native language... logic
So there are people here that really think that it isn't easier to win in English then in our native language whatever it may be?!
OK, keep mistaken yourself!
Yeah that's the point! He won, rigged af
And I think that anyone, (whitin the context) can understand what I was trying to say, but OK.
Those who think in English can not understand this phrase, because the English language is limited, it would be, "if it were sung in English, it would be even more valuable"
Great song.. but the performance did not live to the hype..
completely agree!!

I've voted for her 17 times from germany! She was WAY better than this "song" from Portugal!
Great song, but the studioversion made is popular in advance; the life vocals/her perfomace were quite bad.
Adriaan Camambert I thought in the final she sounded beautiful she was nervous and it showed through her voice in my opinion she should've won because she was so good funny how people hear voices different
No, get some sleep.
Her english is shady..
and your french and netherlands, this all languages she can speak
she was much much better then the silly guy from PT
Tommy the portuguese guy was the best of this year.
portuguese song needs to be listen more than one time. and it's amazing.
not better than Portugal but certainly better than Bulgaria and Sweden
its obvious people were voting for her just because she's pretty
Eddy Marowski
And Polish televote gave 12 points to her ;) yaaay hahaha
Lol, just look at the number of views on the french singer (yeah, the slutty one with her short skirt..) video, and France came 12th... you're a moron. No offense.
10

Negative. I liked the song before I saw the singer.
