Counter trafficking data collaborative says that it found 67% of the children who are sexually trafficked are 15-17 years old. And in 41% of those cases, a family member was involved.
The article is pointing out how the movie is related to the ridiculous qnon conspiracies. And it's important to know this before qnon conspiracies have taken the logic of conservatives and political politicians.

Critical thinking is a problem for people like you? Have people bring in a thermometer to show that AC is offand that is only happens in that room the movie is being shown in. What are the names of people that prevented the movie from being released? Why did Taken movies have none of these problems and it's literally the same subject? If people are buying extra tickets, then that is padding the numbers for how many people are watching it. I watched the movie and thought it was good and well filmed, but I don't need to buy into the rest of this.

I’m so tired of adults dressing young girls in salacious clothing for the purpose competing in cheer competitions, child beauty pageants, dance competitions, movies and modeling, claiming that it’s not exploitation, when we all know it is.
About 10 years ago my Mum invited me back to my home town to watch my little sister in a dance show. The first few dances had little kids in ballet outfits and cute puffy skirts, twirling around, it seemed sweet and innocent. However, as the show went on I was shocked at the revealing outfits being worn by kids under 10. The dance moves were also completely inappropriate for children. I felt uncomfortable watching it. I found it awful that people I spoke to, including my family, thought I was overreacting and that it was fine for kids to be sexualised in that way.

It’s a hyped up backlash.. the critics of this movie tend to be people who were trafficked as kids themselves but the movie’s promoters then claim that the media elite are trying to sack it, so it then becomes more hyped up.. those who are wary of it, ie those who were once trafficked, are critical of it for a reason. We have no power but to sit back and watch as the faithful are being grifted upon.
I have seen Sound of Freedom and Cuties. Found Sound of Freedom was compelling and informative. The scenes showing the sex abuse of children was done tastefully and showed nothing explicit. Cuties made me literally ill. It wanted to show the sexual exploitation of young girls. The scenes were too raw and were pornographic. Sadly we live in a world where morality has sunk to the lowest levels. Read some literature on the decline of civilizations and moral deterioration is one of the major indicators.
The movie stinks....The subject matter is important. Perhaps someone will make a better movie but this one is not good.

I haven’t seen Cuties but have seen Sound of Freedom. I recommend everyone see it, but I can’t speak firsthand for Cuties. Watch the movies, and see others’ reactions. In the theater for SoF in my city some people were bright red with rage, and one person had to leave (by his own decision). Those were people that are very real humans, as opposed to these perverted figureheads of society.

The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite movies. The Sound of Freedom was attacked for its attachment to Mel Gibson as his past controversies from almost 20 years were brought back up after Mel was mentioned in relation to it. Mel did promote it a little but if he was involved in actually making it then it is being kept a secret cuz it doesnt seem he was. Even so, Jim has been open on his support for Mel but then so has RDJ. A while back Jim and Mel were talking about making a sequel to Passion that would focus on the Resurrection.

Texas has every government employee watch a video about real life trafficking stories that occurred within the state. It was produced by the Office of the Attorney General, and it's purpose is to educate us on the signs of trafficking and report anything that looks suspicious. I must tell you the first time I (and some others in my office) watched it, we ended up in tears. Trafficking is not something talked about often enough, and it's a difficult subject. But it's so so soooooooooo important to make more and more people aware.
And YET over 1 MILLION children have been trafficked over the Texas border.
Children have been RAPED and left to die, because of the horrendous injuries they endured at the border, who were found from border patrol!
Maybe people should have driven to the border these past 3 years and had a look for themselves.

One of the biggest problems when it comes to prostitution, whether child or adult is that usually the prostitutes end up with harsher punishments than the ones buying them or selling them. If the laws were harsher on the TRAFFICKERS AND BUYERS, there woukd be less victims of the sex trade.
I've heard many girls 16 or younger are working as "escorts" in my country. I understand sexual maturity from a young age, but a sex worker that young? It's terrifying.
I think it comes down to two things for most of this film's enemies:
1) Jim Caviezel is forever linked to Mel Gibson and his masterpiece The Passion, which the elite dislike for a long list of reasons.
2) Tim Ballard has directly argued that human trafficking is exacerbated by our open border, which the elite have every interest in keeping open. As soon as the elites hear you say "Build the wall," be prepared to become a pariah.

A lot of sex trafficking also takes place through legal international adoption and the foster system. People ‘rehome’ their children on sites all the time, and many people turn a blind eye. Build the wall if you want to, but it will save the smallest number of children.

I have to wonder if you’ve ever heard of the wonderful word “and”. It’s perfectly possible to do multiple things at once, especially when doing one frees up resources to do something else. Fewer illegals in-country means fewer agents need to be assigned to general illegal immigration issues, allowing the freed-up personnel to be switched to anti-trafficking efforts.

I'll be honest, I'm a bit surprised that Rotten Tomatoes is actually showing that the audience score is 100%. I fully expected them to try and flood the reviews with negative review bots to try and hide the success.
I’ve just been bombarded recently with examples of oversexualisation of children and teens and the perversion of old men whether that be in new Kpop debuts with 14 year olds, learning about 11 year old Japanese junior idols, seeing RUclips videos of Omegle, and more. It’s just been flooding areas of my life in subtle ways and I didn’t even realize this was such a problem of our age. I’m disgusted and saddened. I agree. I think a lot of these reviewers aren't living in reality. They think that this movie is just another episode in their game they call politics, but it is actually about real people who are really suffering. If their own child got abducted their opinions would change real quick. A similar thing happens with violent crimes: as crime rises more people begin favoring stricter law enforcement and longer sentences for criminals because they have become victims of it.

Sound of Freedom is a movie to be experienced. I have gone to see it three times now, and I am feeling the pull to go see it again while it is still playing in the theaters. It is a well made movie. It is based on a true story. It uncovers the dark side of humanity. It also casts a bright light on the goodness of human beings caring about other human beings. The movie is made tastefully for a general PG-13 audience. There's no bloodshed, no pornography, no obscene or vulgar language. The sexual exploitation is implied and not explicitly shown. What you feel while watching this movie is the fear and anguish of the kidnapped and exploited children, and the utter agony and desperation of the parent whose children are kidnapped. But, you also feel the love and courage that empower the people in this story who risk their lives to go undercover to track down the pedophiles and find the children and bring them back home to their families. Sound of Freedom is one of the best movies ever made.

I fucking love how whenever a strong male actor is rescuing someone (like in Sound of Freedom or The Covenant, both films starring Tim Ballard) is slammed with “right wing propaganda and Q-Anon conspiracy” while a weak cast of sexually exploitative characters are seen as “liberating and a beautiful representation of the complex issue”.
It’s almost Lovecraftian in the way this is happening, because there’s a deep evil in this society that we can only comprehend the surface of. We only know that corruption exists, but this is a deeper level to that corruption. The fact that these critics hold a double standard for two films that are polar opposites on the level of revealing scenes casts a light directly on the true horror here, but it’s been largely ignored by some groups of the public who may or may not be indoctrinated into thinking that underage girls are somehow “liberating and beautiful”.

I watched Sound of Freedom. It is hard to watch tho. I have a 2 month old baby, and I just wanted to reach out into the screen and save those poor children. I wanted to just hug them and tell them everything was going to be alright. I haven’t cried like that since Unplanned, another fantastic movie.

It’s seriously mind boggling how much people have been brainwashed by social pressure and the media that they’ll chase after feelings of acceptance and ‘being stunning and brave’ over the wellbeing and actual care of children.
Already there’s young adults coming forward giving testimony how all the “affirmation” and soft grooming from their youths led them to make choices that have long term consequences and pain they can never fully heal from. When they do come forward, the “community” that used to praise and accept them immediately turn violent. Slander, libel, black listing, threats, etc, are common tactics to silence those who go against their narrative. Then when those victims speak out on alternative platforms or with voices the attackers don’t like, they’ll use that as further slander against the victim.
Thankfully, people seem to finally be picking up on these tactics and are actually pushing back against those narratives. The way to keep pressure on these issues is to raise awareness, but as Trent says in a subtle way that doesn’t propagandize people and presents the facts in a way that detractors can’t refute them without coming across as the crazy ones.
Wasn’t too excited to see Sound of Freedom in theaters, as I learned my lesson about my tolerance for deep social issues when I saw Unplanned, but I may have to just to stick it to the child-trafficking Satanic cults that seem to infest the world.
I find an amazing amount of naivete among so many parents.
Was absolutely perplexed as I watched parents coming out of a DQSH with their little kids.
I just couldn't figure out how young fathers especially couldn't see the "grooming" aspect.
After all, they are watching grown men in drag reading to their children.
Why they don't even have a gut instinct, or question why there has been such a huge marketing blitz to push this on children is beyond me.
All I can figure is many people get so caught up in the mass media messages of being the "intelligent ones", and not one of those "idiotic, religious types" that it makes them blind as bats.
I am not religious, and I don't care what the MSM pushes, I see how this stuff is freaky, and so age inappropriate.
The Rolling Stones magazine and the writer who tried to discredit this movie are utterly CORRUPT; that’s obvious. Not only that, but it is obvious that the man that wrote the article never saw the movie because it was not a "documentary," as he stated! Anyone who will diminish human trafficking is part of the problem!
The movie is not just “based” on real life. This entire movie is about a “real life” experience which, as a matter of fact, was greatly diminished in order to not horrify the public with more painful details onscreen.
Child trafficking is NOT a political issue or a QAnon issue (whatever the hell that is!). This is a HUMANITARIAN issue! Anyone that says that this is a political issue or mentions Q is only trying to deflect and distract from the actual situation.
Hmmmm, I wonder why they are so hellbent on discrediting a movie that fights child trafficking?
We must add our voices to the movement. Our children are our future, and they need our help. The Rolling Stones tried to disempower all of us by saying there is nothing we can do just by watching the movie, and I disagree. We can watch it and never forget about it. We can encourage our family and friends to go watch it. We can now be aware and look for opportunities where we can do more to help. But the very first step is to stop being lulled asleep in our ignorance! The first step is to SEE the truth! We cannot fix what we cannot see. Seeing is the first step.
So I beg to differ with The Rolling Stones article. There is much that united we can do, and let’s not forget:
- If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
- This is not a political issue; it's a humanitarian issue.
- Our children are our future; they need us.
- We light a candle in the darkness when we face the truth.
- We can live in the bliss of ignorance, or we can live in the awkwardness of the truth.
- This is not just a movie; it's a movement.
- This is about expanding consciousness with the truth.
- How can we fix something if we can't even see it?
- Silence stimulates perversion, so we must speak up.
-For evil to triumph, all good men need to do is nothing!
Lastly, I am a mother of two, and this movie broke my heart. But we must be brave and face the painful truth with our eyes wide open! We cannot be too weak to see the truth! Let's not say that we are too weak and fragile to watch a movie because we are going to cry, please. Mothers, we need to be brave and strong! Yes, you are going to cry, and you will walk out with a heavy heart, but hopefully, this will inspire in you a desire to help, to make a difference, to do something to help the children who are the ones going through hell. You are not going through hell. You are sitting at the theater watching a movie.
All you have to do is be brave enough to watch this movie and spread the truth.
May God give us the courage to face the truth, and may He give us the determination to volunteer and see where we can make a difference.

So sad that Sound of Freedom isn't showing in theatres in our area (I live in The Philippines, south of Manila). Hopefully there'll be a digital release in the near future though.
Angel studios got the rights for world wide release in March this year.
So it's a watch this space for dates on when it will be released in your country - as they only released it in the U.S initially.

Hey Trent. I first saw you on a video with Paulogia, when discussing the accuracy of biblical claims. Even though I sided with Paul, I sincerely appreciated your disposition and the mutual respect of that exchange. If more Atheists and Christians alike were this way, we'd have a vastly better world. And although I don't find the claims for God compelling, it doesn't mean that we cant have civil discourse. We can just disagree like normal people.
What I find incredibly troubling however, is how most Atheists I've met are SUPER left-leaning to the point of insanity. While I agree with the majority of the arguments that rationally challenge religious claims, they seem to completely throw that methodology out the window when covering social or political topics.
Like this for example.
I saw the Sound of Freedom. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. I have two children. The absolute white-hot rage I felt towards those scumbags who would do that to kids was...off the charts. But from a production standpoint, the movie was incredibly well done. It didn't have some huge overbearing 'Pureflix' type underlying theme of god in it. I think God was mentioned maybe 4 times. Which didn't bother me-because I'm not an asshat who gets triggered when people disagree with me over petty bullshit. But from an Atheist perspective...this movie wasn't overly preachy. And it DEFINITELY had the opportunity to be. This movie brings to light the awful, awful reality that there are some morally REPREHENSIBLE, and sick disgusting people in this world that are doing this to children. And anyone who is trying to advocate for pedophiles? They deserve to be hung from the gallows.
I don't have any comments, my heart is broken because what people who have power can do. I really hope that Sound of freedom will open eyes for the truth which is cover by elites, and we will be able to save kids form this trauma, or even death. Thank you for bringing this truth to the audience.

Mainstream media is embarrasing.
Almost all "true" Hollywood stories are very inaccurate for narrative sake so calling films bad for being inaccurate is silly. It depends on the context and the purpose of the film. Promoting nonsense as history is fine (perverting the truth) yet showing that society is corrupting the youth is bad. The people in charge hate truth being spread and also are scared that truth may become more known/popular opinion.
Tim Ballard, the agent who was portrayed in the movie, was happy enough w/ the story telling. He has done lengthy interviews, like the one on Jordan Peterson's channel. He mentioned the rescue mission was larger than what was shown, and was actually 3 separate locations, but the movie had to trim it down to showing only one. These are always the type of poetic license calls that have to be made in order to portray a story in movie format.

There is actual footage of the island rescue of over 50 kids in 2014. Look up Columbian beauty queen Kelly Suarez. She was arrested for human trafficking. The film IS based on a true story.
