You can win if the Soviets do not match or exceed your high watermark at the end of 1944. If they do, the game continues into 1945. EDIT: left a comment too soon.
Go for Leningrad while you still can: that would free a lot of infantry while inflicting large losses to the soviets (and gaining points!). Soviet defensive values around Leningrad look impressive but are actually overreported.
It might be possible - if only i can get to syasstroy (misspelled, the most northern port), but it'll be challenging. I need to do it before july 1943 if i still want the decisive victory..... Leningrad, Moscow, Tula, and hold on to Stalingrad/Maikop/Voronezh....a tall order to be sure.
Q: If a regiment shatters, can the remaining regiments still reconstitute the division? If two regiments shatter, does the remaining regiment then become the division itself?
Have you ever considered playing any of the Decisive Campaigns games? Some are old but Ardenne Offensive just came out and it is definitely in the same vein as this, less detail maybe but still very cool. Barbarossa is an excellent game too
He has played Case Blue on his old account before he deleted it. Dunno about Barbarossa. But he has the complete playthrough of Warsaw to Paris on this account. Go check it out. Also i've asked him to go a playthrough of Ardenne Offensive after he finishes Cauldrons of War: Stalingrad.
Yeah sorry I meant if it was something you didn't record and just played for yourself. I remember watching it and enjoying your victory but i cant find it under your playlists on your channel.
I skim through his WitE videos, same for Xtrg. Though i don't have interest (or time) in the other games they play. ;) I'm pretty hard on the historic wars and stuff.
This (e) next to equimpent's name means it's from UK.
Excited for this campaign, Good luck!

No it doesn't. But the part does rebuild itself in a while, i think.
Nice surprise!

I've played all of them except Ardennes Offensive, and yes it will come after COW: Stalingrad. ;)
The (e) indicates captured English equipment.
AW Hes back!
Nice to see you are using those mods
Is your old War in the East 1 playthrough of this scenario a video series or something you played by yourself?
Not sure what you mean, but it's me playing against the AI, a video series i suppose. There is commentary.
