I was a little bummed that the Platinum was sold out, but didn’t want to wait. Ordered on Sunday, and I actually slept in my bed WEDNESDAY NIGHT, yes, the SAME WEEK! I'm about to order a split king Bliss after a lot of research online and at local stores. I was able to get additional discounts directly from working with a Sven and Son sales person. The pricing is excellent and I'm getting them to bring it in and set it up. I know this isn't hard, but I don't like hauling heavy stuff around these days. I'm getting a split king with many options, extended warranty and setup all for under $3K and that is tax included. I'm hoping it is nice. I'm taking a chance, but this is a third the price of local stores for something similar.

The lumbar support appears to be too high. Probably only way to easily design one on the platform? Seems it should be a few inches lower like the tempurpedic bases. It's supposed to support the lower back, not mid and upper back.
This is what we're most concerned about, too! I'm 5'10" and feel it would hit me at the bottom of my rib cage. S&S said the lumbar support is 23" from the top of the frame. We measure I need it to hit around 27". May I ask how tall you are? We appreciate your videos so much! They're the only in-depth reviews we've really been able to find. Keep up the good work!!

I think I am going to trigger on this adjustable base. I had a tempur-ergo from about 10 years ago and it was built like a tank. It was damaged in storage and we went to replace it to find out they don't offer them any more built the same way. They are thinner metal and more legs. All trash. This is the only one I've seen that looks to be built strong. We are probably getting a purple mattress though.

Do you have pets and would an adjustable bed be safe for a cat and especially if you have a bed frame for it? One of my cats is 12 going on 13 and she likes to get into everything so it looks like I might have to be extra careful to make sure she doesn't go there and maybe even duct tape the sides so she doesn't go there. My younger cat also likes to find places to hide as well although she's not as active as my older cat who is a year older than her. I wanted to get a split King because it is very convenient especially when you want to move. If they made a split Queen I would have gotten that instead but it's only a king or a California king. Besides moving two twin mattresses is easier than carrying a queen size mattress. But then again getting a queen size adjustable base would probably be a little bit more convenient but carrying a queen size bed will be a pain in the butt. I even thought about getting a full size bed but it will be short at the end of the bed but I don't mind it being 54 inches.
We did have to remove the side rail in order to install. We did not use white glove service, but we would highly recommend it if you have two strong adults on hand.

My mom has chronic back pain (among many other health issues), and I was wondering how your back pain is holding up nowadays? Did you find your back pain to decrease a lot after purchasing this bed and 2 years later as well? Congrats on your weight loss journey by the way!!! 😀
I still have some back pain from activities outside of the bed, but the bed helps me get relief in one night rest instead of being out of commission for days.
