Not forgetting that one of the biggest selling points of high-end multi-effects units (vs a traditional pedalboard) is the ability to control just about anything (many anythings at once in fact) with a single footswitch or exp pedal without diving into midi. Though I wonder if that sort of comparison wouldn't merit its own video, maybe an episode of Effects for Violin.
