Amen. It’s a pedal demonstration, and it’s being demonstrated by bassists. If you’re looking for titillation or inhuman playing, go to OF or Charles berthoud For the vast majority of us real world folks, these guys are bloody great.
I bought this Bass version from Amazon by mistake. I thought there was only the guitar pedal. So when it showed up I was bummed-out. But I plugged my guitars into it and I was LOVING the tones and sounds I was getting. I returned the Bass version for the guitar version and.. I mean… It’s ok, but I wish I just kept the Bass version. May have to repurchase it.
At first I was a little disappointed with the pedal, because a lot of it is distorted sounds which I don’t really have a use for, but changing the compression and delay and chorus I can get some cool sounds..have to keep experimenting, thanks for the review and she is a sweet kid, no one should have anything negative to say, they both are helping the bass community. Thank You!
I've been hearing a lot about the bass version and it definitely sounds just as killer, love how versatile it is and I also loved how at 11:46 Cici sounds like she's doing her own version of Metallica's Damage Inc. intro. Cliff would be proud of that, I think
I’m so happy to see Cici and Lee doing these videos together!! Always a treat!! Don’t stop with these two! I do miss Nathan though is Lee just chillin in socks ? Lol
I don’t really mess around with effects pedals. I think I might try this one since I can just dial in an effect and I don’t have to purchase numerous effect pedals. 11:23
I got one and I love it. Great practicing kit for headphone practice. I dont use a lot of pedals so Im confident that this is going to replace my board.
I think the bass version is legit - I've turned the amp sim off and used it in front of a real amp for effects - sounds awesome, especially in stereo. Despite the plastic case, I think it could be a great way to get unusual sounds in a small space.
Nicely done. I’m just starting to experiment with mine, and this was very helpful. I do wish it had an XLR DI out so I could use it as my sole pedal on a silent stage gig, but that’s a quibble. Well done on playing too! She laid back, following the first rule of multi-effects - don’t outrun your pedal, it will get lost, though this one seems to track really well.
Love this channel, question: can you save a setting? If its on your board who is going to mive the knobs for you😂 i could make use of two or three sounds and would need to be able to stomp in and out.. will look for more videos on this!! Btw how a out the chorus and flange tone????❤
I went to get one but they were out of stock so I bought the Boss GT-1B instead and so far I really like it although I haven't made it past the Cool Blues preset.
Interesting. Tempting. Some nice sounds. Welcome back Line 6. Now if they can load that into a Bass amp Combo with decent wattage, they might have a winner.
Great video. I was tempted to buy this pedal to run in front of a Sansamp. My Sansamp is always on anyway. But… after hearing it I think I’ll pass. Lots of good sounds but being a country bassist, I think it’s overkill.
great vid, interesting (kinda) cheap pedal for what it gives you. Seems difficult to change settings on the spot between parts in a song if needed. Does POD express have the same effects as the POD Go have??? In other words is Pod express a compact version of POD Go (regarding bass effects/cabsims etc) ??
Clever. They've just ripped the bass sounds and settings they know work out of the Helix and deposited them in a small and correctly-priced multi. Unlike the HX One which doesn't make sense when you could just spend that bit extra and get an HX Stomp - especially secondhand - this is much more of a win.
I'm about to purchase a small multi-effect pedal for live gigs and sessions, so I was really interested in this one. But the big drawback of this thing is that it's simple but not easy. Why? 1. Because the traditional knobs don't reflect the current settings most of the time. Like the octaver that was active even though the top right knob was turned down in your demo. 2. Because you need 2 hands to adjust gain/bass/mid/treble 3. Because it's hard to do fine adjustments with only 1/5 knob turn for the whole range of each effect 4. Because without a display but with different contexts of operation, it just can't be intuitive It sounds nice, but I'm not sure if it sounds better than a Zoom B1 four. I guess it does because it's newer and Line 6 have loads of experience. But I think the upcoming Zoom MS-60B+ will be a much better option, at least for me.
If they're small they can be- as long as they're large enough I'm not hitting both buttons at once though- I'm good. I wish I could afford a Gigrig switching system- but man they're expensive. All switching systems are, I've yet to find an affordable one. You would think someone like Joyo would jump on that.
Could I know if this was used through speaker monitors? I have been wondering if monitors are good for playing bass. If so, which ones were used. Thank you
The USB for recording (using Garage Band) makes this worth its price alone. I plan on buying it mainly for this reason instead of buying a Scarlette 2i2.
I watch this twice and I didn’t see them do the cab Sims, kind of a big thing to miss also that it has a looper, they should’ve used a number of bases to show how it sounds with single coils, etc.
With her being out of Dave Simpson's trio now she's free to sign up with anyone she wants, and being part of Anderson's gang I'm sure she won't stay on her musical own for too long.
This is mainly a comment as counterweight to the womanhating arsebrackets and people who are afraid of colored hair. Also loved the presentation and the playing ;-)
Kinda interesting: I play the same type of stuff on bass as cici, I love tool and modern basses. And, despite slapping and playing some finger plucked guitar, I finger drag or skip on those 2 strings. Gonna try it her way later Update: I did not like it lol
Not for me, A pedal without displey but all that effects,, hey Line 6 put a small screen, can be just for tell the preset number, or the tuner Note, for example.
Haitch is a common estuarine mistake. I grew up with a lot of people who spoke like that and it stems from a misconception of how you spell the letter H; it's not a pronunciation thing.

@@pepmasters-999 It's a common dialectal pronunciation found amongst a quarter of younger speakers in England (younger in this instance defined as born after 1982, so not *that* young), a majority of speakers in Ireland, and prominently found in Australia, as well as various other dialectal pockets in other countries. Its modern-incarnation is likely the result of h-insertion. Why it got inserted is neither here nor there-such is the nature of language: it shifts and changes according this idea or that, whether conscious or subconscious. After all, we call the letter ‘aitch’ and not ‘heta’ (you could go with other forms too, like ‘heth’, depending on where you consider the origin of the letter as it exists in modern use to be), but if we considered any change to the original form to be wrong, then ‘aitch’ is a mistake and ‘heta’ is correct. Language doesn't exist without shifting and swaying to the whims of speakers at any given moment-if not for uncountable ‘errors’, there would be no English (or any other modern language), just a single universal language (or a small collection of original languages if language arose more than once, but that's linguistically unknowable; either way though, nothing even close to modern language would exist). So the short of it is that ‘haitch’ is wrong according to the prestige dialect, because it isn't a part said dialect, but is correct according to the dialects that do incorporate it, because dialects adhere to their own grammar and features, and if a feature is used by a collective of speakers, then it is correct according to that dialect by the simple linguistic definition thereof.

I want it primarily for bass but I also play a bit guitar…so it sound ideal for me

Thank you so much ♥️

What the sweet mother of CC was that guys, an awesome stomp box, loved the vid cc ultra brill in this vid.
Thanks guys and gals.

Mine is going after the HX Effects on my board to add Amp and Cab sim. I can take it off the board for smaller shows/practice etc.
There's also cab sim, for a beginner this is fantastic
Can I suggest that you publish the audio chain ? I wasn’t really sure what I was listening to.
I may have missed it in the video though. Thank you.

Ah! La amé toca increíble esa chica.
Sounds like a million bucks!
Has anyone used this as a live pedal and if so how easy and or practical is it to switch between tones please? Thanks in advance 😊
For live shows that pedal effects with two switches are a pain in the a**

Presets!
You can add 2 button footswitch.
Use it for song tones, not switching within songs.
I agree pedal layouts like this are a PITA to change live…..same issue I have with digital pedals like Source Audio

What does it sound like with a P bass?
Stellar! I primarily use my mustang with it that has PJ pickups. Frequently find myself on the P pickup instead of the J
Love mine, but would have preferred reverb to delay. Just sayin'.
This is mainly a comment as counterweight to the womanhating arsebrackets and people who are afraid of colored hair.

Will get and with a nice wah killer portable rig
Can it do effects only, no amp or cab emulation?
This is the most badass bass pedal that is intelligently and intuitively made. This is insane

3:20 I PRAY you would finish that riff
I’m not sure if this is cool or confusing… I think it’s cool but it will take some learning.
I have a pod go and id rather just have this for guitar because its so much easier. I find the pod go overwhelming. Just too much on there
Grammar police daily citation: aitch, not haitch.
That pedantry out of the way, that's a great looking pedal and sounds like it has some nice tones.
‘Haitch’ is a dialectal pronunciation, and so adheres to correct grammar for the relevant dialects.

Why not reviewing the Hx One for bass? This one is too limited
they really look like two kids in a candy store
Where is Nathan?? Get him Back. Lee & Nathan are deadly combo for All About the BASS
I feel the same, Lee should be doing the playing..
They’ve addressed this. He’s on tour and will be back. CiCi is a hell of a player and belongs on Andertons just as much in my opinion.
