If you the encoder, you can quickly select effect categories without needing to open the model list. Much faster and easier.

It is really a game changer. It has enough of what 9 out of 10 people NEED from a modeler for any situation. Gig, practice or record. Yes 10% will say the need more but they are really saying they demand more. The spec is high enough for any level of recording. If it isn't then those same guys better stop listening to thousands of recordings made over the last 10 years, lol. As for stereo and many other effects etc ....in a recording situation there is more than enough in the average DAW.

I remember loving my Line 6 M5, it was like the old DL4/MM4/etc pedals put in one. I was considering the Pod Go and entry level stuff to replace it ages ago but it sounds like this is what I'd want now!

Given how good the HX reverbs are, I would argue it’s one of the best options for someone looking for a do-it-all reverb like the Boss RV-6 or TC HOF. Not to mention all the other great effects.

When connecting an expression pedal and a footswitch, is it possible to assign the external footswitch as an on/off button for the effect? That way the buttons on the hx one itself can function to scroll through the presets

I’m pretty sure you can do that

@@TSFAHTPS how about keeping the double footswitch together with the expression pedal?

Thanks for the video! Could you try some of the wah settings with the expression pedal?

The software is a librarian, not an editor per se - i.e. you can't amend a preset via the software, but can backup/restore/reorder/rename presets.

I sold my strymons and bought 3 of these. Smaller footprint and each ONE can be any pedal I need. I have a 4 button MIDI controller, but not sure If I really need to use it, the ONE’s interface is easy to dial in, I may just order the onboard presets for my 10 faves on each ONE and select as needed. I thought of an HX Stomp XL, and maybe one of these, but I am using a TONEX that I love as my amp. I have some time to return and get the XL, any pros/cons to sway me either way? I’m new to line 6. Thanks for the vid.

Yes it is worth it. If only for the free Tibetan Gong you get with it.
