@@chrisbentleywalkingandrambling Hi Chris. It was a great day, made great very much so by the company. If you are not already following their channels you must go and watch both Dave Ostle and Andrew Fosters videos, they are brilliant. 👍
I was over Whicham way just the other day... I was thinking it's a few years since I'd been up Black Combe. I'll be having a walk up myself soon, thanks for reminding me! Looks like you had a good walk, shame about the weather. Thanks for sharing, ATB Alistair 👍
@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad Hi Alistair, it’s an absolute pleasure mate, no need to thank me. My advice would be to drop off down the main zigzag zag path rather than the Sty Knotts traverse path. It’s a little sketchy in places and quite slippy. Thank you so much for taking time to watch as always mate. All the best Dave. 👍🥾⛰
Brilliant dave well put together marra great meeting up again and meeting the others love all the info you add marra I just yomp my way through with the main fells in mind but your details on route is second to none class it was nice to play part in the final for the 2x daves and thanks for the note on the bridge 😂😂😂 many more to follow eh outlying fells is a new task now cant end on 3 lol
Ey up Butchy. As always mate thanks for watching. Hi Alan. Yeah I was gutted as I’ve been wanting to do Black Combe for years. But as you say, we had a blast. Great to meet up with new and old friends. All the best mate, have a great weekend. 👍
Great video Dave and a pleasure to meet you on Saturday...many thanks to everyone for a great day hopefully we'll have another wander soon 😁 Tek care Marra stay safe Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐ 🙏🏻

Nice one Dave, very atmospheric with the clouds rolling in. Can't help but think how good that walk would be in Winter with snow capped tops. Well captured and nice memories of a good walk with some mates. ATB Kenny
Hi Kenny. It was such a shame, it’s a mountain I’ve been wanting to do for years, and I finally got round to it and you couldn’t see feck all. 🤣 Still as you say I was out with friends, all I have met through you tube, and we had a great laugh. I will be back to do the same route on a clear day, winter would be a good shout as you say and I can show everyone the stunning views. Thank you as ever for your support mate. All the best Dave 👍🥾⛰🏴🏴
Hi Dave, Nothing like a moody atmospheric walk in the lake district fells! Initial views were stunning. Shame the clouds rolled in, although we reckon there is always something quite special when you are walking in the clouds. It can feel rather lonely though, so a good thing you had some great company with you😊👌. Looks like a fun day out! Thanks for taking us along as always, All the best, Shell and Pete Ps, just replying to your email now😊👍
Hi Guys, Yeah such a shame we had no views. It's a hill I've been wanting to do for years now. Still I had a great day with friends, all that I have met through You Tube. Like you, I do like walking in the murk, I like to prove to myself that I know what I'm doing and can find my way when the clouds move in, it certainly keeps you on your toes. I had a good run a few weeks ago so I suppose I was always going to be in for some claggy, er sorry atmospheric ones. All the best Dave

Great group walk, Dave. Watched THe mountainmans version, seemed like great crack all the way with all That RUclips royalty. More cameras there than in Currys! You need to find something else for Dave Ostle to do now, and find him a new hat! Regards, Ashley
