I was over Whicham way just the other day... I was thinking it's a few years since I'd been up Black Combe. I'll be having a walk up myself soon, thanks for reminding me!
Looks like you had a good walk, shame about the weather.

@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad Hi Alistair, it’s an absolute pleasure mate, no need to thank me. My advice would be to drop off down the main zigzag zag path rather than the Sty Knotts traverse path. It’s a little sketchy in places and quite slippy. Thank you so much for taking time to watch as always mate.
      All the best Dave. 👍🥾⛰

It was such a shame, it’s a mountain I’ve been wanting to do for years, and I finally got round to it and you couldn’t see feck all. 🤣
Still as you say I was out with friends, all I have met through you tube, and we had a great laugh.
I will be back to do the same route on a clear day, winter would be a good shout as you say and I can show everyone the stunning views.

    Hi Dave,
Nothing like a moody atmospheric walk in the lake district fells! Initial views were stunning. Shame the clouds rolled in, although we reckon there is always something quite special when you are walking in the clouds. It can feel rather lonely though, so a good thing you had some great company with you😊👌. Looks like a fun day out!
Thanks for taking us along as always,

      Hi Guys,
Yeah such a shame we had no views. It's a hill I've been wanting to do for years now. Still I had a great day with friends, all that I have met through You Tube.
Like you, I do like walking in the murk, I like to prove to myself that I know what I'm doing and can find my way when the clouds move in, it certainly keeps you on your toes.
I had a good run a few weeks ago so I suppose I was always going to be in for some claggy, er sorry atmospheric ones.

@@greyhikes5236 Hi Al, yeah we thought we going to get lucky but alas it was not to be. Haha
The app is relive. All the writing I type in myself and I can add it in wherever I want. It’s all basically done on my phone.
I also make a note of any grid references in a little book I have in my chest pouch. Hope all is well with you and Sandie. I’ve got your latest video about the tents to finish off. 😃

@@greyhikes5236 I love the relive app. I pay an annual amount for the advanced version which allows me to upload more photos and videos. Not sure how much it is. The free version I reckon would be ok for you if you literally just wanted to show the route with the yellow line.
