Good job sir. That AC line is absolutely in the way, which is why I found your video. I just did belts last night, and my AC tensioner is in the EXACT same condition. They obviously are garbage from the factory.. New one ordered!
I'll be doing belt maintenance and replacing the tensioners when I replace the water pump and orings on my coolant hoses this summer. Best to do everything at once and be done with it.
Just bought a 2016 and the belts were speaking before I bought it, the Ford dealer didn't show they wanted to do anything despite me bringing it up three times and I have an extended warranty but glad to see there is a tensioner on the larger front belt so guess I'll get all the parts to replace all these things. Belt dresser onky lasts so long and even with it, they make noise in the cold which I hate.
My wife idle pully seized up one morning when it was 11 degrees! Belt snapped which was a serpentine so we was stuck. But it was a very easy fix on a gm pontiac gGrand Prix!!!:

A nice little tip from a Ford tech replacing those belts from the bottom makes the job a hole lot easier.

Dude, you should have replaced that idler pulley that you took off above that AC belt tension. Listening to that it was totally shot.
Na, a year later its still working fine.
Why wouldn’t they change all the pulleys and tensioners at once
