Already bought Civ7...but Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era have totally gone under my radar. Def going to get that one as well. Thanks for the video!
It's insane how many games copy Xcom in this genre. Turn base strategy is a big niche genre, but still, Xcom was really something groundbreaking, in terms of inventing the very base of the style itself.
Mechanicus II, Alliance of the Sacred Suns, and Mars Tactics are all high on my wish list. Civilization VII, Kreigsfront Tactics, Project Haven, Menace, and Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Age are of interest but not as much. Though in the extremely unlikely event Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Age brings more of the Might and Magic settings scifi elements int the Heroes series, which is something I've wanted since the Heroes series started, it will move up my priority list.
Mars tactics looks good except for the cartoony aspect. I always wanted XCOM 3 to have space fighting on Mars, the Moon, space stations. Urban Strife looks interesting.
@@chosensamas I played all CiVs this one is the most expensive part one base. Then in game at start will be not a modern and future era. They will add some time after launch of game. So they cut game to pieces lie old fashion EA
Worth noting that Menace is from the makers of Battle Brothers, so prepare yourself accordingly, it will be hard
Excellent video, and thanks for the timestamped list! 👍
Great video mate. I certainly found a few games I really want that didn't know where coming out. Cheers.
I have not heard about most of these. Really want to try the Knights in tight spaces, Projects Haven and Kriesgfront!

There are many types of turn base strategies, and X-com it's onlyone of them
So much for being financially responsible in 2025.
These games look fucking awesome
it's going to be a great year for turn based tactics
wow some of these look really good
Alliance of Sacred Sun, basically if putting your role in the High Lords of Terra (before Guilliman removed them after 13th Black Crusade)
As We Descend is a great game. I am in the closed beta and the developers are active and listen to the players.

cool video but not giving release dates or windows was annoying
Sparta 2035 coming in 2025 , probably should be included in this list
No Cyber Knights? Interestiing choice for games to present... 😏
Will these be on Colsoles?
Man, next year looks pretty dire for turn based :(
Wait, what? Civ 7 alone makes next year solid

Menace looks like a straight ripoff of C&C Tiberian Sun combined with Generals
Turned based games suck.
