They benefit from the nice house my wife and I were able to afford in a safe area with excellent schools, but I'm not one for spoiling them with material goods because it kills their drive to succeed on their own. So to your point, it's wise to set your kids up with plenty of tools for their success, but let them actually earn it. That's my philosophy on it anyhow.

What I find thought provoking is just how fast will she lose all her pretences when SHTF. Where did that independence go? My sister is like this to an extent... She is 38 no kids and sky-high expectations out of a guy. She makes almost 150k a year and I felt like she priced herself out of ever getting a husband but somehow 8 months ago she managed to find some 30 year old guy to deal with her and I'm pretty sure they are going to get married. I personally think it won't work out because why would a guy so young want to marry a 37 year old? This breeds embarrassment, so she will have to be less than forthright to avoid being embarrassed. Most relationships are built on this foundation. We are exhaustively embarrassed to end up "alone," so we cling to anything that comes by and then shake our heads at others who didn't act in desperation. Horniness, desperation, and embarrassment will get you down the aisle, not love. Love is a cope to explain the other three less than desirable reasons.

Love ya Rich, your book changed the trajectory of my life, no BS. I live in a small southern Louisiana town but work in the big cities. I definitely run into alot of Becky's in California but, the women in the southern states (Dallas, Atlanta) seem to be way more friendly. Like actually say thank you for holding the door open. I notice when I'm working out at the gym (chasing excellence) attractive women seem to hover around me. No eye contact or words, kinda weird, but they hover none the less.
I live in Italy, I'm 50, speak 3 languages, I have 4 children, all male, from 23 to 7 years old. I live in a happy marriage with my husband. I'm in good shape, fit, as you say, I have 2 businesses, in one of which I work with my husband, we are quietly rich and we worked hard for it, as our older sons do now. I don't watch tv, I read a lot, I study more, I plan and create even more 😂 . I now live the life I dreamed of and it didn't come for free. Girls, you can have all you want and the most precious things in life, the ones that give meaning and purpose to our lives, come with decision, discipline, persistance, planning, some pain and effort, commitment, loyalty. Happiness id a moment, joy is a journey: feelings are a consequence, not a motivation, listen, think (your own thoughts), work on a plan, study (fear is a consequence of ugnorance) and then act. Sometimes you'll fail, ok, get up, learn from your mistakes and retry. Remember you'll die, so live a memorable and meaningful life. Things are transient, ideas and learnt lessons, not. Enjoy!❤
These women are all over the place now. I live in Bend, OR. It’s a nice mountain town. I see these women in shops, and so forth. I make eye contact and smile. I’m lucky if I don’t get a look of annoyance. Women seem to have this seething, angry attitude. “How dare you look at me! Creepy dude is looking at me!”. Sad.
This is so true. I actually tested this out the other day. I went to the grocery store and instead of trying to avoid eye contact with people around me, I decided to look up and smile at some of the guys that were around me while walking by. Their faces lit up! They just looked happy someone acknowledged them. I even said “hello how are you” to one of the guys in the meat section and he started a whole conversation and thanked me afterwards. Men are very deprived of genuine connection with women and it’s heart breaking.
I remember I took a flight awhile back sitting next to one of these types. The visible angry energy was hilarious. She was waiting for me to start a conversation so she could go off. Can’t fix crazy.

Being dependent on family members does not equate to being a damsel in distress. Mutual dependence among family members is the natural state of existence for most healthy humans.

You're right that people depend on their families and network to a certain extent and that doesn't make them lesser people for it. However, these people can become abusive and/or toxic, and if this is the case, it's better to have other options.
Speaking as a Woman (of 53 years of age), I think most young Women are being socialized into thinking that having a husband take care of you and having kids with them is boring/oppressive etc etc, where I suppose on paper it can seem that way. But, when given the choice (and I don't think young Women now feel like they have a choice), most (like 90%) would pick the husband they can financially depend on who can give them children. When I met my Husband, he told me straight that he would never force me to do anything I didn't want to do, but that our kids would come first, and I gave up my career (temporarily), and I am glad that I had (and still have) my Husband. But sadly, many young Women aren't even getting this option, due to Feminism convincing them that my life is oppressive, it's not, my husband does what it best for me, and I do what is best for him (our kids are now young/independent adults). I can't bare to think what it would be like to come home from an honest days work, to no husband, and no kids to talk to on the phone, I still have a career, I drive, I co-own my house, I spend time with my Husband, I have a grandchild on the way, I do have it all, but my career/independence is a bonus (not a necessity). EDIT: Independence to me is something that can be shared, I share my independence with my husband, we both take care of each other.
I dont find an issue with her being single, but listening to you makes me see how all these people in these videos are alone. There is no interaction with family, friends etc. So the message is stay in a small place, isolate yourself sourounded by expensive things. After watching this, I saw it very differently. Not all of us learn at the same speeds. Be kind in your comments because I see many of them are passive aggressive. That's not how you help people wake up. You just push people away from watching this type of content.

Several glasses later she's asleep on the couch. It's 7pm.
The problem is these types of Women had that ultimate experience with Super Chad once before.... Now they are (basically) stuck on that setting, even though they have aged well beyond Super Chad's gravitational pull. So now, they drink lattes, practice bad Yoga, and pretend to be the exciting, Independent Women from the evening TV Shows.

Matched with a single mom (who admitted her baby’s father was a druggie) she used to be a Hooters girl to “pay the bills” and our first phone call she pretty much right off the bat and said she wants her partner to “worship the ground she walks on” and then proceeded to say “you’re not taking me back to your house on the first date” when she told me to buy her Oreos from Walmart so we could eat them together she said “we will eat them in your truck”. I put the Oreos back and told her how much it turns me off when women are too structured and kill the vibe with all the rules like it’s some sort of negotiation. Proceeds to say it’s just a boundary and then I told her “I never said I wanted you back at my place. I never invited you back and I don’t even know if I like you or trust you enough to have my address. Just keep that to yourself until I invite you, you have the option to say yes or no”. Let’s just say it ended well that night and she’s never talking to me ever again.
She lives the paper thin life that so many single twenty something's live each day. They validate their lives on Face Book and RUclips etc. and yet are just one bad pay cheque away from being homeless. They make no plans for their own future security and just live for the moment, drinking designer coffee from designer jam jars. They walk from the train station to their average non job office work parading with their Starbucks coffee takeout held out in front of them like a trophy. They have the latest iPhone on contract, when their previous iPhone was fine. Their car is on lease or hire purchase. Their credit cards are on or near limit. Their whole life is fake. An illusion to fool and impress their friends and when it eventually goes wrong, they'll either run back home to mum and dad or get pregnant or live with the first beta man they see who has a roof over his head. Very sad.

The U.S. will eventually drive you insane, and you won't notice it, because, everyone acts in the same manner. So it will seem normal. I took my Russian wife out of the U.S. 13yrs ago, we are very happy living abroad, among other Russians. That say, 'This is the best country for life'. Most westerners (including Canadians) have become unfeeling, non-thinking robots, that are always looking for a high from getting the best, getting it, then, still not being happy, start looking for something more, to be happy. It's just narcissism. I have been single since my 2nd divorce, thankful that I didn't fare worse than I did. Largely I am alone. It's a relief. I've moved twice and might be coming up on a third time, seeing and actually living the whole of the US. After 20 years of thinking about others first, I now think about myself first. I am first, my dog is 1st 2.0. I have tried to work with these women, and it's just not happening. I always end up on the business end of the deal. I was largely alone as a kid, and now I've sort of come back to that as an older adult. I'm happy. I own my truck. I'm debt free. When I was the age of the young lady in the video, I was not happy being alone. I don't think she is either. She just doesn't have the emotional means to sustain a relationship. In fairness, I don't either. I get what she's feeling, but she has a lot more to lose than me.

I’m 54. Kind of in a spot where my friends are mostly women. Either exes or women I’ve hooked up with and stayed friendly with. They are all happily single. But they will come by and have a drink or smoke 💨 a number with me and they are all lonely. They are in their 40s. Decent looking. I try to tell them thier lives are front loaded. When you’re and beautiful and a woman the world literally seeks to serve you. They think the free ride will never end. Now they are looking for the nice guy. When they say that “I am looking for a nice guy “ I tell them they have had plenty of nice guys in their pasts. And they left them for d bags . It’s sad. I live in Thailand now. Some will come and visit me. They love it here. But they realize they can’t compete with the women here in SE Asia. I tell them men have the upper hand here. They realize it. To be honest with you, most people conflate single with independent. As a guy I thought becoming single improved my life, but after a couple of years of going solo i realized I was missing the independence of being in full control of my life rather than being simple. This is why when you look for a partner you want someone who has a life outside of the relationship.

It great to see that an average woman has chosen to be alone because she does not want to settle for an average man. It confirms the dysfunction of relationships today. I'm an average man and I have realized that there are very few good options out there for me. I have chosen to stay single and unfortunately Becky is the reason why. I am hopeful for the younger generations that this changes but for me I don't think it will.

I am 56, my wife is 53. She is Brazilian. We are christians and are happily married 26 years and have 2 boys. We are celebrating my oldest son's 21st birthday this weekend. The large majority of profiles I see on dating apps start by listing all the things they won’t do, then explain why they don’t need a man. It is a non-starter in terms of dating, but most of them will never respond to a message anyway. Women in the dating pool these days are delusional.

I escaped Toronto in 2003 for rural Nova Scotia, never looked back. Sure we have our share of “Beckys”, but they’re nowhere near as numerous as they are in Toronto. I married a good Cape Breton girl, still together. It’s a good life. My advice to young men out there is get out while you can.

My sister is like this to an extent... She is 38 no kids and sky-high expectations out of a guy. Love ya Rich, your book changed the trajectory of my life, no BS. I live in a small southern Louisiana town but work in the big cities. I definitely run into alot of Becky's in California but, the women in the southern states (Dallas, Atlanta) seem to be way more friendly. Like actually say thank you for holding the door open. I notice when I'm working out at the gym (chasing excellence) attractive women seem to hover around me. No eye contact or words, kinda weird, but they hover none the less.

I'm in good shape, fit, as you say, I have 2 businesses, in one of which I work with my husband, we are quietly rich and we worked hard for it, as our older sons do now. I don't watch tv, I read a lot, I study more, I plan and create even more 😂 . I now live the life I dreamed of and it didn't come for free.
Girls, you can have all you want and the most precious things in life, the ones that give meaning and purpose to our lives, come with decision, discipline, persistance, planning, some pain and effort, commitment, loyalty. Happiness id a moment, joy is a journey: feelings are a consequence, not a motivation, listen, think (your own thoughts), work on a plan, study (fear is a consequence of ugnorance) and then act. Sometimes you'll fail, ok, get up, learn from your mistakes and retry.
Remember you'll die, so live a memorable and meaningful life. Things are transient, ideas and learnt lessons, not.

This is so true. I actually tested this out the other day. I went to the grocery store and instead of trying to avoid eye contact with people around me, I decided to look up and smile at some of the guys that were around me while walking by. Their faces lit up! They just looked happy someone acknowledged them. I even said “hello how are you” to one of the guys in the meat section and he started a whole conversation and thanked me afterwards. Men are very deprived of genuine connection with women and it’s heart breaking.

Speaking as a Woman (of 53 years of age), I think most young Women are being socialized into thinking that having a husband take care of you and having kids with them is boring/oppressive etc etc, where I suppose on paper it can seem that way.
But, when given the choice (and I don't think young Women now feel like they have a choice), most (like 90%) would pick the husband they can financially depend on who can give them children.
When I met my Husband, he told me straight that he would never force me to do anything I didn't want to do, but that our kids would come first, and I gave up my career (temporarily), and I am glad that I had (and still have) my Husband.
But sadly, many young Women aren't even getting this option, due to Feminism convincing them that my life is oppressive, it's not, my husband does what it best for me, and I do what is best for him (our kids are now young/independent adults).
I can't bare to think what it would be like to come home from an honest days work, to no husband, and no kids to talk to on the phone, I still have a career, I drive, I co-own my house, I spend time with my Husband, I have a grandchild on the way, I do have it all, but my career/independence is a bonus (not a necessity). EDIT: Independence to me is something that can be shared, I share my independence with my husband, we both take care of each other.

Matched with a single mom (who admitted her baby’s father was a druggie) she used to be a Hooters girl to “pay the bills” and our first phone call she pretty much right off the bat and said she wants her partner to “worship the ground she walks on” and then proceeded to say “you’re not taking me back to your house on the first date” when she told me to buy her Oreos from Walmart so we could eat them together she said “we will eat them in your truck”. I put the Oreos back and told her how much it turns me off when women are too structured and kill the vibe with all the rules like it’s some sort of negotiation. Proceeds to say it’s just a boundary and then I told her “I never said I wanted you back at my place. I never invited you back and I don’t even know if I like you or trust you enough to have my address. Just keep that to yourself until I invite you, you have the option to say yes or no”. Let’s just say it ended well that night and she’s never talking to me ever again.

They make no plans for their own future security and just live for the moment, drinking designer coffee from designer jam jars. They walk from the train station to their average non job office work parading with their Starbucks coffee takeout held out in front of them like a trophy. They have the latest iPhone on contract, when their previous iPhone was fine. Their car is on lease or hire purchase. Their credit cards are on or near limit. Their whole life is fake. An illusion to fool and impress their friends and when it eventually goes wrong, they'll either run back home to mum and dad or get pregnant or live with the first beta man they see who has a roof over his head. Very sad.

To be honest with you, most people conflate single with independent. As a guy I thought becoming single improved my life, but after a couple of years of going solo i realized I was missing the independence of being in full control of my life rather than being simple. This is why when you look for a partner you want someone who has a life outside of the relationship.

It great to see that an average woman has chosen to be alone because she does not want to settle for an average man. It confirms the dysfunction of relationships today. I'm an average man and I have realized that there are very few good options out there for me. I have chosen to stay single and unfortunately Becky is the reason why. I escaped Toronto in 2003 for rural Nova Scotia, never looked back. Sure we have our share of “Beckys”, but they’re nowhere near as numerous as they are in Toronto. I married a good Cape Breton girl, still together. It’s a good life. My advice to young men out there is get out while you can.
