Best way to deal with caulking, water soluble caulk and use a wet sponge and jeep rinsing it in a 5 gallon bucket. Go back and forth over it until it smooths out, rinse and repeat. Makes caulking fun again 🎉
I’ll be trying this for sure! Thanks for the suggestion!
Hello this is Derek D from Rockland Ontario - loving your videos, honesty and inspiration. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate that Derek! I’m working on a cool project right now! It’s an add on to my mobile work bench! I think it’ll be an interesting watch.
I’m really enjoying your videos. Easy to follow instructions.
Thank you Theresa! More on the way!
Great addition to your bench
Thanks Mike! I appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch my videos! Means a lot!
Looks great, man! If I left a stack of bills in a drawer, hidden or not, my wife would find it and claim it in a matter of seconds. If I ever make a video of a project with a hidden drawer, I'll have to use Monopoly money or something.
Haha thanks Mike! It’s fake money! She already found my stash. That’s how “we” funded this project haha.
Extra points for the puppy!!!🐕🐕🐕
Just found you and so far I like what I see. I'm a beginner wanting to be able to tweak areas of my home. Thanks for all you provide on your channel
Of course, Jackie! Thanks for watching and good luck with your creative journey! More videos coming!
Just found you. So simply explained. I'm ready to tackle my own. Ty
Thank you! Let me know how it turns out!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
Of course! Thank you for watching!
Videos are sweet and I like the random money toss. Killin it
Haha thanks Nick! Appreciate your support man!
Hey I never really leave comments but I really appreciate the fact that we didn’t have to sit through a five minute monologue on smashing your light button there for a smash the like button and ur subscribe button and your notification bell and here’s your comment. Thanks for keeping things direct into the point and you’re relaxed demeanor makes for easy watching. Keep up the great work
Hey! That means a lot! I want more subscribers and support but it feels so weird asking for it haha. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! I appreciate it! Cheers!

Hi from the North of England. This looks awesome.
Thanks William! I’m really happy with it!
Great video. Cute dog! Nicole from CT
Thanks Nicole! She’s a sweetie!
Another great video. Minwax sanding sealer works great on mdf so you don't have to do a million coats of paint
That’s great info! The many coats was a pain haha. Each coat I thought “this one has to cover it up”.
You have a good voice for videos, nicely explained!
Hey, thank you! I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Love the video. Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback and for watching!

love your stuff mate
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
Great project and nice way to achieve both an expensive look and functional area without a lot of cost. 👍
thanks! Athens, Ga
Thank you Peter! How are things in GA?
@@WoodNerds great kind sir! Hopefully, these vaccines will help us get back to normal. Stay safe! great channel!
Appreciate it man! You as well! Cheers!
Thanks for the video enjoyed it, I have done this kind of stuff myself and found it easier to fix a sheet of 10mm MDF to the wall before fitting the stiles and the rails. I worked as a health and safety inspector for many years and would like to impress on all woodworkers the need to wear a good quality mask when cutting or sanding MDF. This dust is not good to inhale and could cause long-term damage to your health, keep the family out of the way until is all cleaned up. Thanks again for your time and effort.
I think you’re right! Next large area I do I think I might just do it that way! I’m really big on PPE (especially for MDF and plywoods) so thank you for confirming from the position of a professional the need to wear a mask when dealing with these materials. Thanks for watching and taking the time to help me and others out! I appreciate it!
Here for the algorithm! 🍻🍻
Cheers Keith! I appreciate it man! Hope your week is going well!
HI am from Arkansas
Hey Amanda! Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Very nice. Is this floating shelf/hidden drawer project on a playlist? Thanks!
Hey thank you! Yes it is! It’s the video I posted just before this and should be in the description as well!
Awesome job! I think we go to the same dance studio.

Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Great work! East TN here.
Thanks Ronny! How do you like it in TN? We’ve been thinking about moving and TN is on our list.
Hello East TN from East TN!!
Hey Dave! I’d love to hear from you about TN as well!
@@WoodNerds Tyler, I would very much enjoy sharing our enjoyment and love of East Tennessee with ya...after living in the upper midwest and (to damn many) years on the "Left Coast". TN is truly Home Sweet Home
I appreciate that sir! The wife and I need to plan a trip to check it out. Any towns/cities you recommend to look for a good area to grow a family?
Nice! Phoenix.
Thanks! Same here! I appreciate it!
Very informative and straightforward. Thank you. 😊
Of course! Thanks for watching! :)
Hi good tips
Thank you Jeff! More to come!
Nice one!
Thank you Rafael! Really changed the room up!
Great job, man. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thanks Pedro, and thanks for watching man!
Hey man, great stuff! I'm mostly interested in the mudroom bench, so gonna watch the other one right now! I was resisting on using plywood or MDF in woodworking until I started building jigs. Without planer and thicknesser using these is almost a must (since my hands cannot plane square nor flat) 🤷♂️ I think I'll start using it for some house projects, too. Thanks!
Hey Peter!
Yeah man, I felt the same way. Plywood is a cheaper alternative to solid hardwoods and the results can be outstanding. I’m definitely going to be using it more often. Thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts!
Looks great man!
Thanks Justin! Really came together!

Thanks Tyler! I appreciate it! Hope all is well over there!
I really like your projects and videos. They are helping me convince my wife to let me build things around my house...🤣😂
Thanks Doug! Good luck man. Feel free to blame me if you encounter an issue and need to buy an expensive tool you’ve been wanting! 😉
Hi from Vermont.
Hey! Thanks for watching and stopping by! I hope all is well over there!
Great video Tyler! Loved the happy finished dance 😜 Always supporting from Ireland!
He Darragh, I appreciate the support! More happy dances on the way haha.
You’re freakin adorable!! I’m glad I subscribed
Haha thank you Judy! I just checked out your channel! You are super creative. I love the model stuff you made. That nuke is really cool. I used to build and paint warhammer 40k figures when I was younger. My dad and I would cut out foam and mix putty to create little scenes of battle. I hope you’re still doing all that!
@@WoodNerds Awesome! Yes I still do dioramas. Obviously I haven’t RUclipsd in awhile. My focus is IG now. Maybe you should think about going back to model making and perhaps have a second channel 😉 lol. Thank you for the kind words ❤️ my heart appreciates it
I really enjoyed it! Wasn’t a cheap hobby for sure haha. I subscribed! Would love to see more videos in the future!
Love it, nice job dude
Thanks Jack! Really pumped with how it turned out!
@@WoodNerds mdf is a great material to work with, seems like a mid century wall covering is back in fashion.
Btw did you copy those chevrons off Soliwoodcraft?
Kidding, that's me. Love the vids
For certain applications it’s wonderful. My wife sent me a photo of some so I built them. Didn’t even look around to see who else might have or how they did haha. I wonder if it gets easier than the way I did it!
@@WoodNerds ah I'm joking with you dude. I copied yours and posted them on instagram.
Lol I get it! That’s what it’s there for! Have you sold any?
Nice!. Shoutout from Wv
Thanks Man! Hope all is well over there!
@@WoodNerds Back at you brother, keep up the good work!!
Thank you sir! More on the way!
Tyler, I have enjoyed every one of your videos and look forward to the next one! Great work...and if ya don't have any to do I can always use some help here in East TN...even a a full playground...I mean Shop
Haha I appreciate that Dave! A full shop sounds nice!
Great job, my caulking always ends up with my hand being covered in excess
Thanks Marc! The paper towel helps but yeah, I get it all over the place.
hey man if that money keeps getting in your way, ill take it off your hands lol
Hahaha unfortunately it’s fake money! I also obtained like 7 paper cuts from grabbing it haha. Not sure why this paper is so sharp!
👍
Algorithm compliant.
Oh, sick work, man!
I appreciate that sir! The list is never ending!
Good stuff
Thanks Steven!
Cesar from long beach
Hey Cesar! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and drop a comment man! Cheers!
Hey nice video. I assume this is not a water based paint you're using?
Hi, it actually is! I was worried about it swelling the MDF, but if you buy a more expensive water based paint it has higher ppm of paint and less water. I have ZERO issues with it.
Your baller alter-ego is funny, haha.
Haha, thanks man!
woohoo #100 like. Nice job man
Score! Thanks for being a part of this! I appreciate the support!
@@WoodNerds you do good work. Keep it up.
