In 3rd ed, you didn't buy guard infantry by squad. You got them in platoons. An entire platoon with a command section and 2-5 infantry sections plus support weapon squads counted as one troop choice. So if you picked a platoon, you would buy at least three separate units. Each section also came in a standard size, one sergeant and nine troopers. There was no half-sections like the marines could do, or wildly varying mob sizes like the orks did. A support weapon squad was exactly six troopers in three weapon teams.
It goes back and forth with the guard s about there abilities and equipment. It's below standard and there training also and then it says in the books that they have to have a stand las rifle and training .Which is good enough to make even the least of them the best infantry in the galaxy for regular infantry. They hold the line I like the latter example have a nice day and long live the emperor.
Quick lets win before the Space marines get here! Veteran squads, cos even officer would be careful not to piss you off in case there is an "Accident" in the middle of a brawl with orks, plus bionics or a Cevelryman/Sentinal pilot cos cool
People sometimes forget that each guard squad can have an autocannon or heavy bolter in there with them, and think that the troopers are just going to sit there with lasguns. Or that guard platoons come with heavy weapons squads.

Great video. The heavy weapons teams though can often hurt my chaos cultist on the table top. 👍

Sadly with 10th edition both Veterans and "white" shields are gone
is that soundtrack from baldur's gate 2 i intrao ?;3333
It is not. It's from the Dawn of War soundtrack. But I think they were both composed by Jeremy Soule.
ohh that is nice suprise :3
Yeah, figured a 20 second clip from a 13 year-old game won't get me in trouble.
I'd like to serve in a squad that actually can hit sth on a 3+ :-)
Hello RUclips algorithm. I just gotta say the Ravenguard are marine force recon copies.
