I am going to buy this and The Incal in sometime near future but I was thinking do you need to read the first or all of The Incals to read this since Metabarons is spin-off of the character in The Incal as I've understood? Just asking because I might buy this first since I have a bit more interest in the synopsis of it

No, you can read The Metabarons on it's own without ever reading The Incal. Reading the Incal will only add to the experience :D
