  • These infamous adverts, including a certain famous frog... were advertised everywhere in late 2004-2005 on British TV channels. But Jamster had a dark secret, these were basically scams! If you paid for a ringtone and wanted to cancel your subscription. Too bad! You would still get charged. In April 2005, UK television viewers complained about misleading advertisements produced by Jamba!, trading as Jamster and RingtoneKing. Viewers felt that it was not made sufficiently clear that they were subscribing to a service, rather than paying a one-time fee for their ringtone. The complaints were upheld.

    God this takes me back. The advent of real ringtones, people went mental for them. I remember always seeing all the ringtones on the back of TV Mags. Scamster they should've been called!

    I remember a boy in my class bought the wrong type for his mobile 😂 it was supposed to be crazy frog, but the noises that came out this thing boyyyyyyy!! 💀💀

    They are seen on MTV UK and POP UK

      I wouldn’t think it aired on POP as they are a kids channel and Jamster is not allowed to show there adverts on kids channels because otherwise the government would take action

    Where do you find all of these only seen the first one on RUclips i've seen the Sir Mix A Lot one but where did you find the British version.
