    Can’t believe this has only got a couple of views. This is by far and away the best video of how to properly flush and change steering fluid. Hope it gets more views. Keep up the good work.

    Your videos are very good, very instructive .... the music is very good !!! ... especially the gauge rings...
    I wanted to ask you a question, I saw in the video that your car does not have a fan. How did you make that adaptation? a lower temperature thermostat? You only have the electric fan? or did you install another electric fan? ... if so, could you make a video on that topic!!!

    • @aussiee3626
      @aussiee3626  3 года назад

      Thank you so much for your feedback mate! Now about the fan, when I purchased the car the belt-driven fan had already been removed and replaced with an electric fan, so I cannot give too much info about the installation of said fan. However, I will certainly do a video sometime showing the parts and how it all works!

  • @raphaelfalsch2706
    @raphaelfalsch2706 2 года назад

    I was considering the same route, but then I stumbled upon another one:
    - jacking up
    - sucking reservoir empty
    - pulling return line (thinner one) off
    - closing/plugging connection at reservour
    - leading pulled off return hose into empty container
    - moving from lock to lock while engine off
    - keeping open reservour topped off with fresh fluid, making sure it's never empty
    Supposedly, once the fluid drips into the empty container the same color you pour into the reservoir, the system is flushed.
    Has anyone tried this with a BMW?

      Colour shouldn't matter, as long as it is automatic transmission fluid (Dexron III or above) that is fine. Unless the z3 uses a different type of fluid, I'm not entirely sure.
