“I just want 10 minutes to sit, with nobody asking me anything, and I want to read bullshit on Reddit.” - Never have I felt more seen. 😭
I did this for years during a particular job - it’s my lunch break time, I’m leaving and going to a cafe down the road to sit at their outside bar top (because I had to get the outdoors and sunshine), drink my coffee while I read my book and so help me if someone tried to talk to me 😡
This was well before I was even diagnosed as well! It’s incredible how it’s possible to unconsciously put into place these strategies to help regulate our brains without knowing that they are things that are known to work best for ADHD’ers. It goes to show how good the brain is at figuring out what it needs when it’s struggling. 😮

I've been in the productivity sphere since 2017, consuming all the self help books and stuff and struggling because so much of the basic advice doesn't work!
In the last month I have discovered I have ADHD and now I am looking for advice specifically for people with my kind of brain, and giving myself some more slack and forgiveness for being erratic and lacking focus, having a hard time being consistent with routines and habit building.

Had to start this video about 8 times, could not get my brain around the left side of the screen. Then realized it is a sliding door :). After that, brilliant information. Thank you.

Just found your videos and I’m obsessed! Do you by chance have any advice to those who are in University. I’m recently diagnosed and struggling so hard to find a routine and even to recover from my lack of motivation for the semester.

No breakfast for me. Fasting is great for adhd. I take supplements with a giant glass of water with a bit of salt.
I avoid the food crash and then have a high protein lunch, quick power nap and back at it!
    I fast from 1pm to 7pm. I started slow with 12 hours worked up to 18. Life-changing.
