I have a question I have not seen covered in your videos and I am curious about. I have heard in multiple places that you should "burp" your barrels daily the first week to remove gas built up, even saw a post today where a guy did not do this and he ended up with the rock juice all over his wall and him, he did not fully explain it but I assume he went to open the barrel and the lid popped off with some force and emptied the liquid contents. Anyway have you covered this in any video already? if not, might be something to do. Thanks
I almost never worry about burping barrels. The only time that I have had any pressure build up in a barrel is when tumbling glass or obsidian. Opening the barrel to let off gas or to just peek at the progress is kind of a hassle because you have to make sure that you get the rim of the tumbler really clean so it seals well. Rather than burping your barrels just in case there's a gas build up, I'd suggest keeping an eye on the bottom of the barrels to see if it starts bulging out. If it's not bulging, then there's nothing to worry about.

@@MichiganRocks lol. Funny you say that, bc my father loved rocks, & he would load chunks of granite into a '69 Pontiac Bonneville trunk. It was a lot of added weight. We would landscape w/those boulders. He knew how to split them safely as opposed to my method.
@@salliemorrill2671 My first car was a '79 Bonneville. I bought it from my parents. Six people could ride comfortably in that car. Not cool, but I sure could haul some friends around.
I love rocks snd watching your videos. Sometimes I just wish I could reach through the TV and pick up some of those beauties
I'd be pretty disappointed to see your hand appear on the beach.
