Such a cool journey! Shame DB withdrew their plans for direct London-Frankfurt services, but one can hope for the future. Small typo, 2:40, the Eurostar is the newer E320 made by Siemens
Thanks for catching that typo-I really appreciate it! It’s such an exciting idea to have a direct London-Frankfurt service, and it’s a shame DB shelved their plans. Brexit might have played a role, but I’m hopeful we’ll see it happen in the future. Glad you enjoyed the journey😁
That would be amazing, and it’s something many travelers would love to see. Brexit might have complicated such plans, but hopefully, with enough demand, it could become a reality in the future.
That’s awesome! Traveling as a couple is always such a fun experience. We try to do it as much as possible, but sometimes work or other commitments mean I travel solo. It's great to know there are others who enjoy traveling with their partner too🙌
I feel like in the mock-up the new first class seats looked comfier. The ones shown here seem to very hard, but I‘m generally a fan of the new ICE interior.
I see what you mean! The seats do seem a bit firmer than expected, but the new interior design feels like a step forward. Over time, the seats will soften up with regular use I think 🤔
You're absolutely right, and I really appreciate the clarification! The train in the video is indeed a Siemens Velaro (Eurostar 4015), not a TGV. I got a bit mixed up because it looked similar to the TGV I took from Brussels to London (Eurostar 3015) in my last video. I'm glad I could look it up and learn something new by checking the model names-3015 and 4015 online. Thanks again for pointing that out; it's always great to learn more😊
I didn’t know that! I’ve felt a different vibe when taking this ICE train with the blue stripes, compared to the one with the red stripes. But now that I know it’s the new design, it makes even more sense. Thanks for letting me know
I am slightly confused. It says you travelled first class to Frankfurt, yet the Eurostar bits you showed are all for standard class passengers. Business premier passengers have their own check-in and lounge before they board and have a hot four-course meal on the train.
Thank you for pointing that out-you’re absolutely right! My wife and I traveled with Interrail first-class tickets, but we couldn’t book Business Premier online, so we took Standard Premier class on the Eurostar. On the ICE, we traveled first class. I’ve mentioned this in the description. Business Premier with the four-course menu sounds amazing-hopefully, I can try it next time!
Naik kereta api cuma beberapa jam sdh melintas banyak negara Klo di Indonesia naik kereta api 10kam 15jam hanya antar propinsi dalam satu negara Indonesia
That’s true! In Europe, countries are much closer together, so it’s easy to cross borders quickly by train. Indonesia is so much larger, so train rides take more time but cover amazing distances within one country. Both are great experiences in their own way! I hope to ride both regular and high-speed trains in Indonesia one day😊
Thank you for pointing that out! From what I understand, Eurostar has three classes: Standard, Standard Premier, and Business Premier. I believe we had the middle option, Standard Premier, which is included with our Interrail first-class tickets. I appreciate the clarification-it’s always good to learn more about the distinctions😊

"This is the benefit of traveling with your wife"😂
True! Traveling with her has its sweet perks-literally 😁
Nicer DB ICE interior. 👍🏻🏴
Absolutely! The new ICE interior is really impressive☺️
Only if! DB could look at potentially bringing direct services to st Pancras
That would be amazing, and it’s something many travelers would love to see. Brexit might have complicated such plans, but hopefully, with enough demand, it could become a reality in the future.
we see you also travel in a couple 😀

@LetsgowithD and you get the ICE with the new inside design! that's cool. Greetz from Berlin

@LetsgowithD only inside! you find also an ICE with a Rainbow or the 🇩🇪 flag
Great video

Pour le ICE DB c'est une nouvelle cabine 1 ère ?
"Yes, it is! The ICE train I took has the new first-class interior. It felt modern and comfortable-a nice update!
It was suppose to be direct under DB’s ICE service, but got scrapped…
Such a shame it got scrapped-it would’ve been a great option. Hopefully, they revisit the idea someday!
Why don't our train companies do this 😊
Interesting thought! What do you wish they would do differently? 😊 Where are you from, by the way?

Sorry to burst your bubble. Eurostar Business Premier is NOT 'First Class' See your ticket for clarification.
