Thank you David I’m in the US, love to hike & live in the forest here, last time i was in Ireland was 34 years ago planning to spend time in Sligo and Mayo this summer. Moms ancestry 97 % confirmed to this area. Can’t wait to explore.
I have only ever seen Benbulben from a distance, it is a massive rock formation if my remember my geography correctly. My time in Sligo was always with the kiddos on holidays, it was the beach or if it was raining, the Waterpark. Lots to see and do in Sligo, that I never realised before, thanks David for taking us on this trip.
Beautiful David, I must come down for a visit soon ❤
More than welcome any time Erin! 🙂
Amazing view ❤
So many great places to see in Sligo ☺️
I do remember visiting Queen Maedbh's Cairn, in my youth. Maedbh the Warrior Queen, it is indeed spectacular and impressive.
Yup queen of Connaght. I believe she married a couple of kings of Ireland too.

That's so cool Jean, you'll have plenty of places to see. Mayo and Sligo are some of the most picturesque counties in Ireland!
