- Welcome to our new series about the Best Places to Live in Ireland, one of the most frequently asked questions by subscribers. Our fourth stop is Sligo, located in the west of Ireland and is Ireland's 24th biggest town with a little over 19k inhabitants, a little bit bigger than Greystones and a little smaller than Letterkenny or Wexford.
We want to explore more places like this in Ireland. Let us know you're suggestions in the comments.

this channel its awesome, i just got to Dublin 3 weeks ago, and its so good to have so many tips, thank you!!!
Another great video! Glad you guys are back 😊
Thanks! We're not done exploring more of Ireland yet so more videos to come, just a bit more scattered than we used to do them.
NIce to see you back!
Thanks! We're not gone just erratic uploading for now 😓
Finally! Was wondering if the channel was mothballed. Now we can continue the tour through Irish towns and places not named Dublin :-)
We'll try. Have at least one place that isn't Dublin planned to check out next.
Not going to lie, Sligo looks awesome! I believe there's not a lot of tech jobs near there, but it looks really nice for a roadtrip stop 😄
It's definitely lovely scenery. Funnily enough back in 2019, there was a guy working in tech that said he was living in Sligo so that's how we first heard about the place.
Very informative. Which towns/ villages outside Dublin are more rent-friendly in your opinion?
Thanks a lot for this video. Now the question is: would you move there (if you don't consider the housing situation)? And can you make a video about Wexford Town? Thank youuu.
We wouldn't unless we had a friend circle there, or committed to getting one. It seems to have everything you would need. But since it's only us two, we would need a bigger city/town nearby with more things to do to keep us occupied. I feel if we had a friend circle with the similar interests that wanted to settle in Sligo, it would be more of a fit. But we'd definitely return to visit in the summer.
We'll add Wexford to the list.
hello back again
Thanks and hello again, thanks for still watching
Stay in Dublin if your a mixed race fan
What do you mean by that?
i live in sligo mate, amazing video lad
Hi Guys, how would you compare Sligo against Waterford, or even Wexford, in terms of cost of living, for a semi retired person who does not need to be close to a main city? Love your channel!!!
We haven't been to Wexford yet. Last time we were in Sligo was 2021, so things may have changed. But it was cheaper, definitely was more countryside like once you left the main city than Waterford.
We been last to Waterford in December for a day, only ate at restaurant and those prices felt similar to Dublin. I feel that city has more of buzz to it than Sligo , but it probably changes for some of the smaller towns in the county.
Sorry it doesn't quite your question, it's been a while since we vacationed at either for a few days.
@@WineAndRum Thanks.
what is it a city or a town

Is she not from lituania ?
