Oh one more thing, so very excited for you that you purchased a beautiful spinning wheel. It’s fun to see the joy it brings you. So very glad you’re feeling better. For me, a cough is usually the final phase and then it’s back to normal. Have a super day. And thank you for sharing the festival with us.
Thank you, yes I'm in love with my spinning wheel! It's so much fun making yarn!
You are amazing Kelly I don’t know how you do all your crafts and look after your family 💕
Thanks Lin! I mainly squeeze in the crafts during school hours, that's why nothing gets done during half term and summer holidays! It's literally impossible to write a pattern during those times 🤣❤️
Absolutely LOVE your videos! You definitely bring joy to our days! I truly lost it with laughter while you were explaining the situation at the restaurant. Oh my gosh, if that happened to me, I would have reacted the same as you did. 😂 Your yarn and fiber purchases are beautiful, so very exciting.
Thank you so much! Oh my goodness I don't know what came over me. Just hysterical laughter 😆 I've not done that for ages!!
That Mary Poppins yarn would look lovely with that “Young Hearts” top!
Yes it would! I can't wait to make some scrappy tops for the summer!
You had me cracking up. Love it!!! Also you really have me wanting to go down that hole too. I’m in trouble. Hope you’re having a good morning Kelly get well soon.❤❤❤
Ha ha yes it's a dangerous hole to go down but it's bringing me a lot of joy so it mind of balances it out I think! 😆🥰
Good morning Kelly😊
Hi 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
Love all your videos! Wonderful purchases... beautiful! So happy for you that you purchased a spinning wheel !
"S" name for her...Sophie! Good luck naming her! Can't wait to see your spun yarn 😊.
Thank you! I've randomly gone with Francis! It just came to me and felt right 😆😆😆
Sorry you have been poorly. Omg beautiful yarns and fibers. That's a gorgeous spinning wheel. Serendipity or Serena. Can't remember if I told you, I usedto work for Batons and Baldwins as a spinner. They were in Alloa in Scotland where I'm from originally. Goodness your meal service sounds awful. I must admit I get hangry. Hope you keep feeling better.
Thank you! Oh wow did you really. I have really fallen for spinning. It's such an amazing thing to do! Yes the meal was pretty terrible, I don't know what came over me but I suppose it's better to laugh about it than get angry 🤣
I was wondering why you missed the last surviving half term! Now I know. Loved that series. Gosh you bought some beautiful yarn at the festival!
Yes I got really ill and couldn't show my face on the screen as I was a hot mess 😆
Glad you are feeling better. Sometimes those “bugs” seem to last for so long. (I recommend crushing two cloves of garlic in some hot broth and drinking two or three times a day. Do not chew the garlic, just chug it down with the broth. Good for the immune system-and also keeps vampires away. 😂)
Yes I literally feel like I've been under the weather since October last year! I've struggled to shake a cough but my chest was completely clear and then getting ill again with an extra cough on top just about finished me off 🤣
It was lovely to meet you on Saturday, sorry for the fan girl moment haha.
No worries at all it was lovely to see you! 🥰❤️
Hi Kelly, oh my gosh! The beautiful fiber and yarns! And wow a spinning wheel! How about Sophia? 😊 I absolutely loved making the Granny Peplum! I'm thinking about a red, white, and blue one .
Thank you! Oh I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the pattern! 🥰❤️
A wonderful name!!😊
Thank you 😊
I'd love to send you my short video of the hexagon cardi I crocheted from your pattern for my daughter . It was my first cardigan ever!
.
Are you on Instagram or Facebook, you can message me through there to send pictures and videos! I would love to see it! 😍
Hi Kelly ❤
Hi! 👋🏼☺️☺️
❤❤❤ awesome 👍🏾❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
You could make a skirt from the Aran yarn. Very colourful, very you
Ooh yes that would be nice for the summer 🥰
I have the same problem!!! I have A LOT of yarn but when I find a project I want to make, never the right yarn or the right amount 😮
Yes what's that all about!! I always tell myself I don't need to buy anymore and use what I already have but once a colourway in my head, no other will do!!! 😆
Right? How does that happen?
As far as a name for your spinning wheel, the first name I thought of (it doesn’t start with an S though) is
Winnie the Spinning Wheel or you can spell it Wynnie too. This name means “Happiness “.
That's cute! I've finally decided on a name and have no reason why, it just came to me and has stuck... Francis 😆
Will you show us how to make the strapping tops when you make them please.
Yes! 🥰
I have been crocheting for over 50 years, and have always pronounced “skein” as “skane.” “Skeen” seems to be catching on more, though (and I hate it). “Skane” people are my people. 😊
Ah that's good then! I always thought I was saying it wrong 😆
Your sweater in the thumbnail is so cool!! Do you have a pattern for it? Or a video on your process? I love it!
Thank you! I'm afraid I don't! It was my second attempt at freeform and it took a lifetime to complete 😆
@@CraftandaCuppa I would love for you to do a “freeform crochet” video. It may seem an oxymoron to have a tutorial for something that is “freeform,” but how about a small project that features techniques used in freeform that we could then apply to our own projects? Like maybe a small wall hanging?Pretty please? :-)
“Spinderella”
I forgot: does your dog have long fur? A friend of mine used to spin her collies’ hair to make yarn!
No but he malts like I've never seen! He's a pug. My dad used to have an Alaskan Malamute and I know now 100% that I could have spun his fur!
Kelly I noticed that one of your fibre purchases was one breed of sheep so that sounded pretty special. Are they all pure wool?
They are all a mixture of merino, Corriedale, silk and bamboo!
No photos? How is that possible! 😂
I know, not a single one apart from me getting dressed in the morning 😆 That's it!
Gorgeous fleeces? or fibers? stuff to be spun? lol not sure of the technical name. Enjoy your wheel.
Thank you! Yes I can't wait to tuck into them 😆
Sheena the spinning wheel or Spidey the spinning wheel
Spidey is quite cool! 😆
spinning sian (my name)
Ah that's pretty 😍
@@CraftandaCuppa I’m not spinning sian of course lol. But my name is sian lol
I carried on watching and saw one of the fluffs had silk in it.
Don't go to that café again it sounds terrible!
Yes I definitely won't be returning. That's two bad visits 1 year apart 🙃😆
