If you get in leagues there’s tons of racing on acc on console
The reason I switched was mostly because of the lack of games on console. Everything is on pc and on console you only have ACC
For example Automobilista. Shame that this game is only for PC.
Just some advice for anyone looking into sim racing or Ps4 players: Im a sim racer using a ps5 and now saving up for a PC because I’ve reached somewhat of a ceiling of how much i can improve and advance in sim racing in terms of limitations on competing in more competitive leagues/ paid leagues. On console Youre very limited on what equipment you can use. Im balls deep in the thrustmaster ecosystem (3 wheels and load cell pedals) but I cant get a direct drive wheel or upgrade my pedals to a different brand. You can only use one brand of gear. Theres no telemetry, very minimal settings compared to PC, and you cant use sim support apps e.g. coach dave delta and such. So even tho a PC especially for Sim racing is expensive, just save for it rather than do what i did which was upgrade to a ps5, then realise you can do way more on a PC
Note that I’m not blaming skill issue on my equipment. You can still be a high skill driver on a Logitech. Im 0.7 to 1second off esport pace. Closing that gap and maintaining it will be much more helpful with a PC
I’m balls deep in the thrustmaster eco as well but decided to pull the trigger and bought myself a fanatec club sport dd + f1. Glad to say, best purchase made but nevertheless still planning on getting a PC. Limitations on the ps5 console sucks lol
My current pc was built with used rtx2080 and used r7 3700, think it cost around the price of a ps5, what I'm saying is, it's not a big of a cost if you dont want it to be and I get 90-140fps with mostly 'epic' settings on a 1440p gsync monitor with this setup, butter smooth. On pc you can mix and match pedals etc, I use my g920 pedals with loadcell mod with a cammus c5 for the ultimate (imo) budget setup.
There's a few often unmentioned downsides on pc tho, no matter what you play (even acc apparently) you'll run into some utter ******* cheating, lots of cheaters, I actually miss consoles for this reason. Another is sometimes you cant play your favourite games through no fault of your own, eg I couldnt play Warzone for a month last year because of a bad update, 120£ spent and they broke the game for me and 1000s of others with a particular cpu/gpu. Ive experienced this a few times over the years with various games.
Agree. This track is awesome even on console. We had race on it with 35+ racers and it was fantastic.
Yeah the significantly less Input lag is the first thing that struck me now I’m on pc. I guess you get used to it on console but I really noticed the difference. Dropping the ps5 to 1440p and turning off hdr helps a bit.
It's so good even when I compare to pc the ps5 is still really good. Sure graphics aren't as good but very immersive with feel.

The spectators adds so much to the immersion, I wish GT had them
GT needs modern GT3 cars. They still have the 458, 650, and V12 Vantage!
Gt does have them in races
The frame drop is way more significant, highly noticeable with the car bouncing 😢
Hey Mr Callsign. What did you mean "this needs a hotfix" at 1:37? Is it the joker lap timer not resetting? I thought that was just a free practice thing, but it's not resetting in quali for me either :(

Coming in november, i expect more games getting patches, Sony will proably push gt7 the most to do a patch for the new console.

ACC on console is great. I wish they could make it cross play with pc. LFM would have even bigger numbers. I know it’s never going to happen but I still hope AC evo will be cross play
how is AI and about rubberbanding.. very tempted to take a break by GT7 and organise myself a decent custom championship on my own....currently in GT7 this sucks.. Sophy is limited to only a few events and not usable at all on custom races
AI isnt really that good. its better than regular GT7 AI
Super HARD to get clean laps.
All my time on the Nordschleife or 24Hr layout has been on Gran Turismo. It spoiled me. Super easy handling like cars are on rails with its joke TC and ABS settings. I'm struggling to set a valid lap on ACC 😂 need to start going slow and build up because I know the track inside out but I've got muscle memory from an irrelevant and frankly unrealistic game
@@RL- I am in exactly the same boat. I put it down for a few days to play the F123 Miami track before the GP. I like to know the track before the race. It makes following the race so much better.

My only valid lap to count towards track medals yesterday was a 12 minute something "track walk" I did finding new references points. I finally did a clean 8:24 earlier with race fuel, and then I got rid of all but 20L to have a go at quali and realised the joker lap thing wasn't resetting my timer so I gave up after a few crashes 😂

its called editing, spent about 16 minutes talking with timer running,then did another lap for time
I know how it’s called, I was just wondering what happened, because I tried to skip the nordschleife section on quali as well and the time didn’t reset to 0:00 after I crossed the finish line as I was starting the new lap. Are you sure acc does let you do an outlap on the GP track and then start a fast lap on the 24h?

Can you share your acc console ffb settings pls ? My settings are bad i have csl dd 8nm
Can tell you a trick, turn INT down to like 1 or 2 don't keep it at 6+. It brings out more raw ffb signals instead of trying to smooth them and or make less noise from the base. That alone will help you out tbh. Turn ndp down also. Remember you may feel som oscillations when letting go of the wheel but to me it doesn't matter as you will be getting much more detail and a better feel.

Whats INT at? Also this will effect in game feel thats why im bringing it up. The only way to test in game setttings is to adjust to your liking. I leave dynamic dampening up in acc because it helps with the tire/suspension feel. People think it actually dampening but it isnt the same as regular dampening. Then I adjust in game ffb level to around 70%-80% for the csl dd pro 8nm @KJB__
I feel bad for the people that are on PS4. I wish they could make the PS4 players have this to so we could cross play with them.

If this was to be ported to ps4, I would assume it would have taken a lot longer (just like the patches that came before for both consoles).

@@randomcallsign pc guys should just leave consoles behind. even the steam deck has more going for it. hopefully one day we can buy 2 stream decks and have full vr streaming and coop with someone on our pc at home...... see forgot about consoles already.....
@@RACER-dz8uhconsoles is here to stay, its the most accessable way of playing games today, not eceryone needs a pc to enjoy their games or might not even want to spend the extra money and time to get the setup right, a console just works straight out of the box.
I just cant wrap my head around, being a sim racer, and limiting yourself to PS5. Every game worth owning is on PC. IJDGI. I've owned tons of consoles, one for every generation, however, It just no longer makes any sense with their subscription programs, and poor performance compared to a half decent computer at around the same price.

Just think about players that cant get more than the ps5 money wise and will still enjoy their time in the sims for console ofc
I get the pc is superior to the consoles in many ways but even casual gamers who just wanna relax on the consoles are good with this and their g29

Personally, I can't justify the additional cost for something I don't get enough time to use. As was said below, a mid to low performance PC will not give you great graphics. Maybe for iRacing, but not ACC
Ahh we can do both but I don't think you realize everything they added to act for ps5. But sure pc will always have extra. But let the peoppe have fun. Also not gonna lie people sitting on ffb on ps5 are liars and don't play sometimes it somehow feels better. Like I truely beleive acc feels better on ps5 with ffb queues and I main pc myself. But it's fun man to play with friends. So it's not limiting yourself it's all about your group of friends or people around you. Or maybe ease of use and accessibility. Regardless sim racing is fun now even on the newer consoles so all good.
Also it's not poor performance compared to a half decent pc that's wrong. Many pcs let's say 700 to 900 dollars cannot run acc at 60fps at this level of fidelity. Yes it's not as good as a good pc but it runs better then on lower or even right on the edge of mid tier pcs. I'm sry but console is much better then you may believe this isn't 2019 where it was still that far behind. Pc is better yes and should be the choice for Hard-core sim racers but you can get a very good experience now that isn't lacking on feel with ps5.
Like me I love pc but if I just wanna get on and do a few hotlaps and relax driving I'll hop on my ps5 for sure. I'll even play gt7 at times just to relax. Also I really enjoy f1 2023 on console to. Acc is the best feeling sim on console though for sure.
@@racer14glr91 I think youd be surprised, you can nearly max acc on 1440p with 3 gens old hw. I have a ryzen 3700 and gtx 2080 and get 90-140fps with great settings, more with dlss but the other cars ghost a little in the distance. My 1440 curved gsync/freesync monitor was £200, my cammus c5 was £300, theres money saved as well vs ps5, I'd assume youd want a 4k tv and must use a moza or fanatec wheel for dd on ps5?
@@paddyodoors2757that alone will cost more if ur getting a pc no actual genuine point going used hardware unless ur grabbing something like a 3090 for 600 ish or 6900 xt or 6950 xt from £490 to £660 then the rest of ur components
