I found a lost pair of these in the case at work. Same issue. Unfortunately, most people do not have a switchable power supply just laying around- not even me. I have an intelligent hobby charger but unlikely it will charge a dead battery because of the intelligent part. I’m assuming this is the same reason the original charger doesn’t work. Perhaps I could connect a discharged lith battery to it since the voltage is assumed to be below 2 volts.
Nope. After messing around with various ways to safely do this, nothing changed the red light or the left side connection problem. I disassembled the left side and there was nothing wrong with the battery, it was at 4.1 volts (surprise). No wonder it didn’t seem like it was taking a charge. Nothing I’ve read about seems to solve this issue so I think I trip to the garbage dump is in order. I suppose i will at least strip all the batteries from this junk. Samsung has had too many different issues with these (including people fixing them by throwing them at a wall) for me to bother with them. At least I didn’t pay for them.
I found another solution. My case would see if they are charged and by constantly Putten them in and out of the case little by little I was able to jump start them.
Because to see if they are charged they would usually put some kind of load on them and by doing that if it is less than X the case thinks it is charged. So I just constantly lit that little charge on them. Took me about 2 min for each bud.
Not necessarily. He limited the amount of power going into the sleeping battery by limiting the amps to .02? lol. If you hammer that thing by just surging it with a battery, the huge flow could wreck the bud.
Wish I knew this years ago before I got rid of mine 😅
Great Video!
Woah the face reveal. I thought you'd be quite older looking due to the wisdom you emanate!
That's a heck of a compliment :D thank you!

Thanks for this tip. What words am I to use on Amazon when searching for the universal charger thing with pogo pins please? Do you have a link?
Is the polarity the same on the left bud, to where the pad next to the L is the positive?
Did u find out?
Just clean pins & problem will b solved in 99% case
How do you do that if the case is the problem?
I have the same issue with my buds2 pro left ear
I want a controller with only analog sticks can I buy one from you?
Can I jump start with a AA or AAA battery if I don't have a power supply?
