BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER, PLEASE READ THIS: I have found another way you could fix it. Try doing this: I heard that if you jiggle the bud and leave it make sure the red light stays on for it and wait for it to charge up. Sometimes it'll change back to green. Keep trying at it until it stays red.
For me (galaxy buds+ and using iPhone), it was my right earbud that wasn’t coming up in the app (brand new, straight out of the box). The steps in your video didn’t work, I couldn’t get the green light to start flashing. Went to settings and unpaired the buds and deleted the app to make sure. Tried the above, took a few tries for me to wiggle the right bud to make the light turn red - for a while it was switching back to green after a few seconds, but I got it to sit right and red light stayed on. Left the case open for about 10mins and connected them back to my phone and opened the app and the right one was connected and on 14% battery. Turns out the right bud was just completely dead and that messed with the case for some reason? I don’t know, but the problem is fixed! Thanks for your tutorial! Hope this can clear up any unanswered questions too :)
Here I am, shocked that THIS is what the problem was! They fell out of my case in the car during a 3hr trip and I had no idea until the next morning. One bud had 18% and the other I assumed was dead. I sat it in the case and it went red for about a second, then green. I tried all types of stuff but the entire time I just wanted me to sit them in the case in a very precise position. Stupid. Either way, my right bud now shows a whole 1%, which means it's alive again. Thanks man!
NEW TIP !!! Desinstal everything. And try it back with the case at zero battery 🔋 . Now your phone will see both earbuds!!!! After that. Just recharge your case.
@@kristyboi7190 use the right earbud and charge it until the case show 0% of battery. Disconnect the earbud from the Bluetooth memory of your phone. Charge the case again. This should work. It worked for me ! Good luck 👍🤞

I have a red pair of galaxy buds plus and lost the left bud. I purchased a 20$ bud replacement in the color black from eBay because it's all they had. Thanks so much I paired both of them using your method even though they were different colors. :)
OKAY SO I HERE'S MY SITUATION: I slept with my Galaxy Buds + on and I woke up with them off, out of the case, I tried them on when I woke up then the Left Earbud was the only thing making noise. Then I put them both back in the case just to charge them. Evening came then I tried both buds, the Right buds weren't working, so I checked the wearable app, it indicated that the Left and the Case were the only things showing Battery level, the Right bud was "disconnected". I searched for solutions everywhere and nothing seemed to work, tried the pressing both buds at the case while it blinks, nothing happened, tried reinstalling wearable app, nothing happened. Until I tried putting the case on charge then just putting the Right Earbuds in (disconnected from any bluetooth device), I just put the Left Earbud out of the case, Then I waited for about an hour. the light is still red, (indication of charging), I tried to connect again then poof, suddenly it's paired again and I can see both buds now. Fixed it with this method.
Spent like 25min trying to connect these 2 ear pods - (bought 1 online because I had lost the right one). Finally worked in the end despite them having different serial numbers. A message was poppin up: "Each of your earbuds has a different software version. Fix this by updating your earbuds.Otherwise, you'll only be able to use one earbud at a time." I updated the software this way on both earpods - (just by clicking update on the popup message, tried it 3-4 times). And it finally worked somehow. Not sure if this helps anyone, but be patient 🤗
To clarify - I unpaired/reset my connection to both earpods and used the method of pairing in the case by holding for 3sec as in the video BEFORE the update message popup. So thank you sir!!
Just had this error, left earbud and case connects but no right earbud. Followed your tutorial and voila case and left right earbud connects. Great stuff. Thanks
For the record, Firstly thank you sir for explaining this fix it was greatly appreciated 🙏. Secondly, allow me to explain and further elaborate on the process. When pressing both buds down simultaneously ensure to firmly press them into the case and slide your fingers slightly outwards to the sides of the case and approximately 5 seconds the case should start to blink at which you can either close it for 20 to 30 seconds then attempt to connect. Once pairing is complete you won't see the bud appear right away, don't be disheartened as the battery may be completely dead. Give it like 5 mins with the case closed to allow the bud to charge and viola it will appear with some juice/battery 😉 enjoy and once again thanks for providing this video 👏🏽
I've tried charging my left bud which was dead and then pressing down on them for ages but they won't flash green? Every solution online won't work for me
Can confirm this fix still works for Galaxy Buds 2. Lost my Left bud and bought a replacement which led me to this issue. After following the guide and recieving a firmware update the buds synced up!
Step1 : Press both the ear buds till the green light is blinking.. Try any combination but somehow get the green light to blink.. I think this indicates that the buds are ready to pair with one another. Step2 : Keep pressing the faulty bud until the frequency of blinking increases and release your finger.. I guess this is the pairing process. You need not close the case. Once the pairing is complete, the blinking disappears. I did this to fix my newly purchased Buds+ since it wasnt working when i unboxed.. P.S : Try this step repeatedly without connecting your buds to the phone.. In most cases, the disconnected bud would have zero charge left in it and it will test your patience as to how long you can hold. Cheers :)
Just showing people what was said on a forum and it worked for a lot of us. But your instructions don't make sense because normally the light would flash red after holding it for a certain amount of time
this kinda worked for me. you do have to find the right spot for the disconnected earbud in the case so that the little light stays red. I let it sit there for a good 2 hours and tried to connect them and it still said disconnected. then i restarted my phone and I saw it connected and it had a 4% charged. that was weird because i thought it was charging for those two hours, but anyway, they worked after that. hopefully it sticks. good luck
@@azfarhazizan2610 you need to put the earbud that shows disconnected inside the case by itself and leave the case open. The little red light inside the case should stay red after you put the faulty earbud in it (again, by itself, don't put the functioning earbud in the case as well, just the faulty one). If it turns green after a few seconds of being in the case, its not doing anything. You need to press lightly on the earbud and just move it around until the light stays red and doesn't go green. At that point it means the case is recognizing the earbud and can charge it.
@@azfarhazizan2610 wait for at least one hour just be sure. It should be charging up. If you still don't see it connected on the Samsung Wearable app, restart your phone and check again. Thats how it worked for me
Okay, purchased it 4 days, tried all of the above, then was going to return it. Then tried something today, it worked - Original Buds - so here is what I did Issue - Left Ear not working 1. Disconnected from all device. 2. Removed the ear bud cap and the grip cover from the left ear and blew on it and put it back on the ear as how it was on the right. 3. The wearable app showing me 98% on right ear, and left ear not recognizing. 4. Uninstalled wearable app and cleared all blue-tooth from memory 5. Connected the ear that was not working into the charger and connected it to the power and closed it for 30 minutes, my right ear which was working was on the table. 6. Then after 30 minutes took it back , unplugged and opened it put the right ear back on in the case and then connected to the wearable device. so it was red and then got to a green stable. 7. Installed wearable connected it, reset it from the pin. Now this is where it gets interesting. 8. My right ear was at 97% and the capsule at 100% and was showing on the screen, and then with my right ear on my ear. 9. The left ear in the capsule I was removing it and putting it back fiddling with it continuously and suddenly it showed(which means it started to recognize) and showed 6% charge. 10. Now I just took the capsule back and put it for charge with only the left ear, it's currently 45% and charging but both ears are showing on the wearable app and it's working. Look, my nearest best guesstimate is that you should disconnect, forget on all devices, put the not working ear for charging in the capsule and connect it to charge, take the capsule out of charge after 30 minutes or so, uninstall wearables, reinstall, reconnect the devices back to your phone, reset the earbuds from the wearables app from reset buds option, keep only the not working bud in the box with it opened and fuck with it (like keep putting removing ti ten times) and watch the wearables app at some point while your going back and forth with removing and putting it on the capsule, it will show on the wearables app. ( or i hope so) I really pray this works for you, I really hope all of you it will work and dont have to return/refund or wait. Best of luck and fuck with it, something will happen. Or else fuck it! :)
Thanks for the instructions!! I got my right earbuds to finally connect and start charging after following ur steps. For my situation, (step 6) it only works after the wearable app was installed by the AUTO prompting and installation via Bluetooth (forgotten that it can be installed that way) when I tried to connect the buds to the phone. It did not work when I pre-installed the wearable app followed by pairing the buds to the phone. Hope this helps others facing this problem too!

We just purchased our BUds and we received it today with problems, of course, the left bud would not connect and does not worked. Then, I tried searching on Reddit, followed a lot of their advice but to no avail. I would like to say that this video helped me!!! Although, it wasn't as quick as the video above, it requires several tries in my case. For some reason, the "press both buds down and wait for the light to blink" doesn't work for me for few times, and it was frustrating. And then, it just came to me to try just putting the "not working" buds on the case alone, came back on it after few hours, put the other bud in the case (now they both in there) and tried pressing them down, it worked! I had to reset the app and delete the Bluetooth info on my phone first before reconnecting. Happy that I have found this video!
WORKED! I called customer support and they didn't know how to fix and said to file a claim for a new pair! Found your video today and it fixed my issue! Thank you so much for sharing!
OsculatingPlane I charged the case. Then took ONLY the faulty bud and put it in the case for about 30mins. Then opened the case and put the other bud inside and then followed the steps in the video and voila the green light blinked and the buds paired
I have recieved my buds plus two days ago and None of the methods are working i tried like everything(Holding down both buds is not promising it has no guarentee that your buds will show in app also it will waste your time ) and went to the service center they don't know nothing ,how to let them work(D***b a**) and i have taken my buds plus from them, bcoz I found the other way to let left bud show on the app FIRST MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT BUDS FROM BLUETOOTH OR UNINSTALL BUDS APP. 1. First You need to charge the left bud alone(without the right one inside the box) for 30min just make sure case is connected to adapter while charging left bud alone. 2.Than after that put the right one inside case and then reset buds in wearables app and then connect it again.Still left bud will not show on wearables app okay. 3. Now take out the right bud from the case and take out or put left one continously inside the case many times after that green light will change to red and it starts to blink and after that put the right one inside the case. 4. Now touch and hold both buds at same time indicator starts blinking green light now close the case and again open it and try connect it to app if it still doesnt show,Here is your final step. 5. while both buds being inside the case now remove and insert the left one from the case continously aprrox 7 times just like i mentioned in the step 3 now while your doing this contionous process suddenly your left bud will show on the wearables app with 1% battery and there you go.Charge it and enjoy!!!. @g80m I know understand how it works u can do a video about it happens bc the galaxy buds has no charge so u should take the ear pieces and wiggle the galaxy buds in the case until it turns red if it turn green then u should continue taking it off and putting it back again until it stays red for about 30 seconds then leave it charge on red with case open for 30 mins and then ur good

I just got mine new and from the start the right earbud didn't show up in the menu same as you saw it. However, mine don't show up individually in the nearby devices, the right just doesn't do anything. Have ideas how to fix it or just send it back and get a new pair?

@@Dmont16 can you explain more? when i put it in pairing mode and I put my finger on the one that isnt working the light in the middle stops after a couple secs, but it still isnt connected
BEFORE YOU GO FURTHER... Clean the gold contacts well (I used a q-tip) and let the case sit with the buds in for 5 mins. The issue may simply be a build-up of ear junk on the contacts and the bud hasn't been able to charge... this happened to me. Hope that helps

Excellent g80m. THANKS. This was what I needed. -- Also want to point out (as @Ognjen Isakovic mentioned in another reply) to disable/turn off any OTHER Bluetooth devices you have connected. (eg Smartwatch) -- I attempted this fix repeatedly (10-15 times) however, the instant I powered off my Gear S3 watch and started again, the fix worked. Also, my tip... after you 'reset' the buds (the 5-second hold, and then blinking light) leave the case closed and charging for a good 10-15 minutes (or more). For some reason the 'dead bud' doesnt even charge when it's not recognizable. But once you reset (blinking light), it begins to charge. Not sure what the deal is with that... but 10-15 minutes gives you a good 15-20% charge on the dead bud, and you can also apply any updates required to them.
This worked after a few attempts. The left earbud would not originally show up at all, even as a different pair.
Every solution online won't work for me
the case doesnt flash even when i hold it for 1 minute :(
Can confirm this fix still works for Galaxy Buds 2. Lost my Left bud and bought a replacement which led me to this issue. After following the guide and recieving a firmware update the buds synced up!
Left earbud disconnected, i press on both and nothing happens.
Did you ever get it fixed?
@@lllramoslll1613 unfortunately not. Had to trade them in for new ones
I let it sit there for a good 2 hours and tried to connect them and it still said disconnected. then i restarted my phone and I saw it connected and it had a 4% charged. that was weird because i thought it was charging for those two hours, but anyway, they worked after that. hopefully it sticks. good luck
just now got this buds and got this problem. so it need the light stay red?
@@azfarhazizan2610 you need to put the earbud that shows disconnected inside the case by itself and leave the case open. The little red light inside the case should stay red after you put the faulty earbud in it (again, by itself, don't put the functioning earbud in the case as well, just the faulty one). If it turns green after a few seconds of being in the case, its not doing anything. You need to press lightly on the earbud and just move it around until the light stays red and doesn't go green. At that point it means the case is recognizing the earbud and can charge it.
@@Germi007 ok im doing it and right now the light staying red. How many hour for me to wait and check it on the apps?
@@azfarhazizan2610 wait for at least one hour just be sure. It should be charging up. If you still don't see it connected on the Samsung Wearable app, restart your phone and check again. Thats how it worked for me
@@Germi007 thanks its working now! Thank you very much for you guide.
I usually don't comment on any videos but on this one i have to cause it definitely does work. Thanks dude 👌
Okay, purchased it 4 days, tried all of the above, then was going to return it. Then tried something today, it worked - Original Buds - so here is what I did
Issue - Left Ear not working
1. Disconnected from all device.
2. Removed the ear bud cap and the grip cover from the left ear and blew on it and put it back on the ear as how it was on the right.
3. The wearable app showing me 98% on right ear, and left ear not recognizing.
4. Uninstalled wearable app and cleared all blue-tooth from memory
( or i hope so)
I really pray this works for you, I really hope all of you it will work and dont have to return/refund or wait.
Best of luck and fuck with it, something will happen. Or else fuck it! :)
I really appreciate it bro, I'm gonna try this and hope it works because I really don't wanna go through the hassle
Left ear bud still dead
Mine says it changed but when open and tried opening it doesn't pair
NEW TIP !!! Desinstal everything. And try it back with the case at zero battery 🔋 . Now your phone will see both earbuds!!!!
After that. Just recharge your case.
Samsung support doesn't know crap, and that's always their answer for anything broken.
I followed these steps, but the green light doesn't flash.
Same here, I tried to press on both earbuds but nothing happened 😥
OsculatingPlane
I charged the case. Then took ONLY the faulty bud and put it in the case for about 30mins. Then opened the case and put the other bud inside and then followed the steps in the video and voila the green light blinked and the buds paired
Haha a couple months back I watched this video because my buds won't work and now I'm doing it all again 😂
Anyone else one is just completely dead? I just seems like it's not charged but the case saying green
I have recieved my buds plus two days ago and None of the methods are working i tried like everything(Holding down both buds is not promising it has no guarentee that your buds will show in app also it will waste your time ) and went to the service center they don't know nothing ,how to let them work(D***b a**) and i have taken my buds plus from them, bcoz I found the other way to let left bud show on the app
FIRST MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT BUDS FROM BLUETOOTH OR UNINSTALL BUDS APP.

Excellent g80m. THANKS. This was what I needed. -- Also want to point out (as @Ognjen Isakovic
mentioned in another reply) to disable/turn off any OTHER Bluetooth devices you have connected.
My right earbud is still disconnected and it won't charge either. What do I do?
