I had the pleasure of test driving both of these at home. ultimately I decided to keep the Bose. Here is how they compare. Sonos has better bass (no sub required) and a warmer sound. However in movie dialogue can sound a bit muffled at times, so you have to either increase the volume or enable the speech boost feature. The fabric front cover is a dust magnet, I have 2 dogs so in a very short amount of time it got covered in fur. The Bose has decent bass but it doesn't dig down as deep as the Sonos, but it does sound cleaner and more natural. The Bose never sounds muddy. Dialogue is crisp and clear at all volumes and it can get very loud, importantly it never distorts (unfortunately the Sonos doesn't sound that great past 60% volume and can't achieve the same levels of loudness ) As for the apps. pretty similar UI but the Sonos offers more streaming services. In conclusion I feel that the Bose is the better all rounder, it's a great home theater soundbar and the Sonos is better suited to music.
Most straightforward and to-the-point review I have watched on RUclips. Subbed
Got the Bose and the 500 Base Module and it’s AWESOME
I was testing the sonos and sound was a bit muffled and okayish. Then I requested to sales personal to turn on the bose 300. Holy cow its literally night n day diff. I straight purchased the bose 300 straight away.
Same here, i had a good look at these brands, i love the bass in sonos but the dialogue sounds muffled at times or inside a box.. the bose on the other hand does not have that slight bass of sonos but the clarity and separation of instruments and crisp dialogue is amazing. So i decided to get the bose and add the bass by purchsing the bass module 500 and also the surround speakers. Amazing sound, feels like a theatre 😊
So it comes down to which one you can get a deal on
Is this Audio test a joke?
I'm not sure I understand the decision to let us hear the soundbars in action. Anything I hear is through my own speakers. There's no objective data for me in that clip. Otherwise, thank you for the comparison review.
Sonos Arc > Soundbar 700
Sonos Beam < Soundbar 300
How can you put valum up down with your Fios remote
A comparison of their step up models would be nice 👍
Bose are missing a trick by not doing a coloured range..good to see it has Bluetooth though..
Which has a better overall sound quality?
They won't answer because this is a store channel. So more of a showcase rather than review
According to various reviews, the sonos is better

Charles Omeni I'll go ahead with bose 300 & 500 module!! Bose 500 & 300 has a minor difference....
@@rohitbishoyi1095 that seems like a good choice , you won't be disappointed with the soundbar.
Bose🎉
Sonos really hurt themselves with the S2 app and not supporting any legacy products. I imagine the Bose will work 20 years from now, and there’s no way to know if the Sonos will.
@Brian Jackson That's a fair point, but the only Sonos *speaker* that isn't supported in the S2 app is the original Play 5. Otherwise, all their speakers will work with the S2 app. It's likely they'll continue to be supported for a while still. Thanks for watching!
Denon Home 550 soundbar is 65 cm wide
i was laughing so hard when he displays sonos move, but says next to it that is sonos one sl 😂😂😂😂
Sonos all the way
Bose is too expensive compared to sonos
They are literally the same price at Best Buy. In fact my father is trading in the Sonos Beam 2nd gen as soon as they have stock in the Bose 300. The Sonos grabs the ARC audio and doesn't let go to other devices. Such as Bluetooth headset. You literally have to unplug the Sonos or turn off CEC-HDMI to use a Bluetooth headset. Doesn't matter the TV manufacturer, its the way Sonos manufacturer interprets ARC standard and sets itself as the master audio device and never lets go. Check forums, there are literally thousands of comments about not being able to use Bluetooth headset with Sonos. This in my eyes should be a disqualifier of the Sonos Beam (including 2nd gen) or Sonos ARC, they both have this behavior while none of the other soundbar manufacturers do this. There are workarounds on some TVs like getting a SPDIF fiber to Bluetooth transmitter and hook that up to your TV. But then you've negated the built in Bluetooth of the TV that I payed for. But sometimes this doesn't even work as LG TVs shut off the SPDIF fiber out and analog headphones out when feeding the HDMI-ARC audio. Its plain stupid, not worth the hassle even if the Sonos has deeper bass than the Bose. Just don't get the Sonos Beam if you intend to use headphones or any of the other audio outputs of your TV.
