  • Alright so now that we're coming to the end of the 2023, let's see which Phone has the best overall camera system! I decided to primarily test at night as typically the night setting is more stressful and will show the true capabilities and HDR of each device. Last but not least, I will use a simple point and shoot method as this format translates to most consumers.

      I own both, for mobile purposes, 15PM definitely has the best video quality hands down. I actually prefer my S23U for quick mobile pictures when I don't have my camera, and that's coming from someone who owns a Nikon Z9, and Fujifilm XT-4...

      @bigcdub7888 I'm not a huge fan of samsungs photo processing and the overly saturation. I like iPhones realistic/dull style, and then I can edit or saturate to my liking. It's hard to go reverse - from saturation to a raw look

      @johnsonm3563 not hard to go reverse at all. Both phone's photos can be edited to practically look the same. Unless you zoom.

    I definitely prefer the iPhone’s natural and detailed look. The S23 Ultra’s contrasty and saturated look can be appealing on the surface but it seems to lose a lot of details in the shadows (it’s also quite alot noisier). One thing that I wish Samsung would do away is its excessive use of oversharpening as it makes objects like leaves distracting and unnecessarily artificial.

    Happy New Year and thanks for another great video. Christmas really is the best time to do camera comparisons.
    In regards to the results of this test; I'm a bit of a contrarian, I guess. I honestly thought that the Galaxy won handily, other than in the telephoto video showdown where the Sammy's camera was noticeably jittery compared to the rock solid iPhone unit. Both were excellent though and, more importantly, I can see why many reasonable people prefer the iPhone.

    I would call this one a tie. Iphone has better video, samsung has better zoom and pictures. Better camera app along side the camera assistant app.
    At the end of the day, you can edit both and make em look the same.
    It really boils down to the user and what their needs are. You really can't go wrong with both.

      Hello, would you kindly test on the iphone 15 pro max genshin impact’s graphics settings and the performance load of each setting in the middle of the court of Fontaine at fountain with the spinning mechanism? I’ve been looking around youtube for a detailed performance load video for mobile, but I have yet to see it. I think you could get a lot of views for providing a very detailed settings guide since there is a lack of it right now. P.S. please test out the new metalfx and if it is better than basic resolution

      @@DameTech it’d be really cool if you could do a settings breakdown video showing how each setting would impact fps at different levels(lowest-high) for both iphone 15pro max and the s23 ultra. Similar to a gaming pc graphics settings channel but without the amt of editing they have.
      My suggestion is to put everything to lowest and use 120fps, then test each setting by themselves with everything else set to their absolute lowest. You should go to the fountain with the spinning mechanism, since it seems to be the most demanding location we have in the game as of now.
      A lot of people will be benefiting a lot from this, and if you decide to do in depth setting breakdown for mobile games imo you might be hitting a niche only pc gaming channels have rn

    Most average people tend to prefer samsung photos as ive come across because its more vibrant while they say the iphone is dull. But i wish samsung could add in photographic styles just like chinese brands as well as iphones have done so that those who prefer more natural photos can also have their desired shots

    Can you help me decide which phone to buy, i want 15 pro max but i dont like no fast charger and i wanna play games and it takes for ever to charge 2-3 times a day, OR wait for s24 ultra which launches in two weeks, but i will loose all triple AA titles coming on apple . So what you suggest;

    • @NFYT
      @NFYT 5 месяцев назад

      Both phones last the whole day of usage
      The iphone 15 pro max has better battery life than the samsung, if you charge it overnight or have 20W believe me, it will be more than enough.
      I rather iOS over android i think the animations and how the system works are much more snappy, to the point that some ppl dare to say that a 60hz iphone can be more fluid than plenty mid range 120hz androids, and i think that’s accurate! But that’s on you, if you plan on doing piracy or emulation (all of that is much better on PC) android has the upper hand, but it has been proven again and again that iOS is just better for everyday usage, specially when it comes to social media, because apple has better compatibility for instagram and their kind.

    • @sweedishpie360
      @sweedishpie360 5 месяцев назад

      The s24 ultra or a discounted s23 ultra all day everyday.
      If you want a phone that posts better photos on Instagram, get the iphone.
      If you want a real smartphone get the galaxy.
      Don't worry about losing aaa titles. They suck on the iphone. With the money you save with the galaxy, get yourself a ps5 or Xbox series x.
      As far as fluidity goes. The galaxy will be snappier vs the slower bouncy animations of the iphone.
      Idk what kind of bs the other user was saying. While I agree that a 60hz iphone will be better than a 90hz mid-range android. It doesn't hold a candle vs 120hz phones.

    • @DameTech

      After One UI 6 update, I’d choose the S23 Ultra for any landscape and Ultra-wide photography/video. iPhone 14 Pro Max is still better with portrait shots or capturing raw imagery (better for those who prefer to edit photos). iPhone 14 Pro also has better Wide-angle video performance. At the end of the day, both are a tie as both have strengths and weaknesses.

    I've seen a lot of camera tests, and I generally prefer the S23 Ultra's photos due to the color and contrast; the saturation looks more vibrant and detailed to me. The only thing I consistently prefer on the 15 Pro Max is its portrait photos. iPhone is still king of portrait mode.
    Though I was shocked at how little I preferred the Pixel 8 Pro's photos in all of the camera tests I've seen. Heard so much praise for its camera, but I just unfortunately couldn't vibe with its photos as much as the 15 Pro Max or S23 Ultra.
