Apparently Toby Fox made the Tera Raid Battle theme, the Area Zero overworld theme, and the Area Zero Lab/AI Sada and Turo themes, which have my favorite leitmotif in all of Scarlet and Violet. Also he apparently made the base version of the overworld theme, while others built off of it for other scenarios like nightime (and noted that he "loves the soft piano version that plays at night") this info is apparently from an Undertale/Deltarune newletter from December 20th 2022 which I either missed or forgot about It just makes sense why these themes would mix well.
It's an even greater match when you think how the Amalgams are aberrations, just like the paradox pokémon, caused by a scientist's obsession. Sick stuff
I mean, Alphys wasn’t even obsessed. She was doing her job of attempting to find an alternate way to break the barrier. The monsters brought in were in the state that monsters take before dying of seemingly natural causes. She injected determination, the substance that gives human souls the oomph to persist after death, in an attempt to make the cadaver monster’s souls persist after death, so they could create a stockpile. She also attempted to create a vessel with the ability to absorb human and monster souls to utilize them, as monsters can’t absorb monster souls. It went bad, as the monsters didn’t have the physical matter to endure determination, and melted together, and the flower given determination ended up being one with Asriel’s essence on it, causing it to morph and carry Asriel’s consciousness, but due to how monster souls are their emotional cores, he couldn’t feel caring about anybody, and, with the added power of reset, made him undergo a psychotic break.

I'm making a Pokemon Region based on Sweden. They have Pokemon that are the type of Pokemon like the Ultra Beast and the Paradox Pokemon. People in the Poke world have seen how some Pokemon are able to fuse (Kyurem, Necrozma and maybe others) and become stronger Pokemon as if they were absorbing their DNA, like in the case of Kyurem with the DNA splicers. So they decided to be able to make Pokemon stronger by artificial means. They were doing experiments with these Pokemon, extracting DNA from other Pokemon and inject them to other Pokemon to see if they'll be able to become a stronger Pokemon. However, they couldn't stand DNA from other Pokemon and they started to mutate and their bodies became unstable. Scientists then witnessed that some of these Pokemon were merging into a single Pokemon since their bodies were unstable. Seeing this promote them to continue the experiment to see these Pokemon fuse with one another. What they didn't know is that these Pokemon were actually suffering from this, but they didn't care. Soon, these fusions went feral with these scientists, hoping to free themselves from their agony, leaving the lab in ruins; some of the scientists managed to escape. When the trainer would go to this ruined lab, along with one of the scientist who used to work here but wasn't involved in the experiment, they would encounter these fused Pokemon against their will, looking all grotesque and eerie. The scientist would look at them in horror and sorrow, almost like what Garnet from Steven Universe said: "These Pokemon, they made experiments with them." "They were abandoned here." "These Pokemon were forced to merge to together." "They were forced to fuse. This is wrong." But that's mostly my idea.
Man, I know Team Rocket made Mewtwo, but they really went overboard with the Forced DNA Fusion Experiments. Tyranimence, Blazidash, Lycantomb, Ribombodor. Who would do such a thing?!

You are now confined to the walls of The Great Crater and are now forced to compete with the local wildlife alongside other pokemon that were transported to the current era, some of which are unfamiliar to you. Compared to your home, this new place is cold and damp. The only positive is that as a creature of the desert, you can go a long time without food or water, both of which are abundant. However, as mentioned earlier, you have to share both it and your now smaller territory with your new neighbors, who are in the same position and just as uncomfortable as you are. Alternatively, imagine for a moment that you are an Iron Valiant. You are designed after a combination of two of the most loyal psychic types known to mankind. Your assignment is simple. Protect your designated trainer at all costs, a task that you were literally built to do. One day, you are taken away from that trainer to a place that you weren’t designed to see, let alone understand. Your limited code tells you to designate the situation you now find yourself in as an emergency. You do what you were programmed to do, that being to attack anything that might pose a threat until the situation returns to normal. Though you aren’t programmed to be able to differentiate what is safe and what is dangerous in this new environment, you do know that what unfamiliar is to be considered dangerous until you are told otherwise by your assigned human. As a result, you decide to attack anything living around you in the hopes that the threat will leave, unaware that you can never return to your prior duties, your assigned human will never see you again, and that you have become a threat yourself. This may not apply to all paradox forms, but I think you get the idea.
Your argument makes sense. But in the case of these forced fusions is that they're suffering due to being two or more separate Pokemon forces to fuse as one body, they want to break free of that singular body. They're confused, afraid, and they sometimes disagree with one another. It's like the Amalgamates or the SU forced gem fusions.

Yes, I know, I'm commenting in 2024, but I think it would be great to mix the area zero theme with ANOTHER MEDIUM, because I think they are very similar. And also, both songs are done by Toby Fox, and I would love a mix of these two.
I did too. It’s the result of combining the genes of several different dog pokemon in an attempt to create the ultimate loyal companion. However, the project was deemed a failure for several reasons. It’s too large to fit into most homes and requires an amount of food each day that exceeds most budgets. Its barks can make people go deaf if they stand too close. It’s too energetic for most families and could easily crush someone while trying to lick their face. At the same time, even though it has incredibly high stats across the board, it’s too friendly to participate in battles. I’ve decided to call this adorable disaster Behemutt.
I love this remix so much. I've been looking for Undertale/ pokemon music mixes for so long. Do you have any plans on doing the area zero theme and area zero battle theme music with Undertale and deltarune soundfonts too? I'm dying to hear what they both sound like in those styles because they were written by Toby fox. Heck I almost forgot to mention I'm dying to hear the team star grunt battle theme in deltarune/Undertale soundfont. I swear team star grunt theme gives off that one time you fight sans ost vibe. I did too. It’s the result of combining the genes of several different dog pokemon in an attempt to create the ultimate loyal companion. However, the project was deemed a failure for several reasons. It’s too large to fit into most homes and requires an amount of food each day that exceeds most budgets. Its barks can make people go deaf if they stand too close. It’s too energetic for most families and could easily crush someone while trying to lick their face. At the same time, even though it has incredibly high stats across the board, it’s too friendly to participate in battles. I’ve decided to call this adorable disaster Behemutt.
