    @Dave-O and @Alchemist We just have to let let the music play, it's the only thing that matters, you like it or you left it.... no more words and for me it's beautiful

      Sounds like a G-major arpeggio (G on12th fret) followed by a A-minor arpeggio (A on 14th fret) with loads of ethereality combined.

    can't believe he needs that much equipment to make this sort of sound. surely an echo pedal and a loop pedal would do the whole job? maybe chuck in a reverb or chorus or something else for colour but its not rocket science

    • @12inchvertical
      @12inchvertical 4 года назад

      he didn't actually control the echo in the loop either, so you get the washy sound carried into muddiness. Not knocking Guthrie, he's a legend and i'm sure its hard to organize shit live in a variety of venues but i wouldn't be happy with that sound if i were him

      @Alchemist i can make a sound like this with a couple of pedals, for sure. Not quite as full but not miles away. I can't write em like Robin but I can come up with a circular trancey riff without much trouble. Hope my answer has satisfied your rather bitter search for answers.

      Just shows how little you know about guitar effects and live sound in general.
