Shooting aquariums! That’s a good idea. Please make the video, really looking forward to that.
👍 🙏
The shield on the lens is amazing game changer!!
Thanks for the tips, Tomi! I would definitely like to see a video on shooting aquariums-both photo and video. I just got a DSLR for this purpose, so it would be really helpful!
Great vid Tommy, this is something even I can work with,it makes me want to trie at least, well done.
Hope you had a nice vacation, glad your almost back, there is something missing on my Thursday's.
Thanks for your words Ed, we're warming up here and soon will have the videos back. Just wanted to give you guys an appetizer and tell that we're still here. Actually Balazs is working on a big project i also can not wait to see the progress on that - Viktor
I have done a lot of wildlife photography and used Photoshop a lot, so I really appreciate just how much work goes into getting that perfect shot. Love this video. A ton of great tips.
Cheers Christine! Wildlife photography is a great thing to do, respect!
@@GreenAquaShop It is. It's so fulfilling to get up close with nature. I've been to some awesome places in North America such as Yellowstone, the beautiful Rockies in Canada's west, down to the Everglades in Florida, the Great Smoky Mountains, beautiful Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick's Bay of Fundy and then out to Texas and then way out to Vancouver Island. I saw so many Bald Eagles there I lost count. I have been less than 100 feet from Grizzly bears and had a huge one ton bison walk next to me. I even had an arctic wolf follow me around when I went north. I was doing macro photography of arctic wildflowers and this lone wolf just came out of nowhere. After a while he just laid down about 6 or 7 feet from me and just stayed there. Haven't done much fish photography though.
Wow. Like all of these places are dream bucketlist destinations for me, I did not have time to visit any of these, I got stuck with the deserts of Arizona, Utah, etc. But will definitely go see these in the future, I love photography too - just not the animals, I don't have patience for that. But my father does. So by his tales I know exactly how you must feel when meeting up close with these magnificent creatures.
@@GreenAquaShop Murphy's Law of nature photography: the better prepared you are the less likely it is you will see anything. Of course, when you are struggling with all your equipment, the animals are just standing there staring at you. I love nature photography. Even if you don't get "co-operative" animals, you get beautiful scenery and solitude. I tried wedding photography once. Just once. Never again. Hope you get a chance to visit Canada's great western provinces. Alberta and British Columbia are so beautiful.
I know. So looking forward to that trip.
Agree, Tomi! Can't wait to see how the planted tank photos being shot! ^^
Thanks for your words, we will do this for sure sometimes in the near future. 😃 👍

Glad you like it, yeah photo retouching/editing is something which is not covered too much usually on the subject. 👍

Szupi Vidi!!!Azok a betták! 😍 A garnélás állványaitokrol , meg a garnélákrol, meg, hogy van nálatok a szűrés, talaj, stb, annyira jó lenne egy Vidi! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Köszönjük, lehet egyszer beszélünk erről is. Bár a technika ezen része nem a legszebb. A csatorna nézői más dolgokhoz vannak szokva 😃
Congrats really awesome work.
Love your photos❤️
Thank you 🙏
Great Tutorial, I like that you're getting more into Photography on this Channel!
In my experience I just wanted to add that a wireless flash with 1/250 sec. can be enough to the higher flash rate itself. The flash "freezes" the movement, regardless of your in-camera shutter speed. There still is a difference in sharpness in very fast movements though, I give you that.
But your black camera shield is great! :D
Damn! U speak English well as I can see... Why your RUclips videos aren't in English, I'm crying right now😭 I'm still following you even if I don't understand what you mean 😂
@@masterpeace7343 because my channel is called "the GERMAN aquascaping-channel" ;-) But I do offer subtitled videos, not many, because subtitling is a ton of work, but I do try to subtitle at least one new video a week. I have grouped all my english subtitled videos in a separate playlist, check it out: ruclips.net/p/PLSWOo5dsenaCwdmKygYvHakIHMNm8ZRdh
Thanks for your words Tobi. 😃 Good one on the wireless flash 👍 The shield is a handy one for sure. Always wondering how many DIY gear is there in the photography hobby. Do you have a fav one from your collection? - Viktor
Green Aqua oh yes, definetly: I do workshops for food photography as well and you often need quite huge diffusors to get e.g. a photo of a botte with super soft lighting on it. And softboxes with over 1.5m are hugely expensive! So I just put my flash behind a wooden frame that has the IKEA SHOTTIS window blind on it! Huge diffusor for 2.95€ 😅
Geez what a tool! I could not tell how much we spent on softboxes in the past.... Probably a single screw could cost more there 😃 😂
more of this please ...love it
Will do for sure 😊
Awesome info!
Very nice Video 😊. Unfortunaley i miss the talent and the equipment for it. So i am waiting for your photos. 👍❤
Thank you. Learnt a lot from you!

great vid, just shows that even taking photos of fish isn't easy.
Yup photography is also developing over time especially the editing workflow
Shooting aquariums video would be a GREAT idea! It's really sad and frustrating and you like your tank but can't take a pic that shows it's beauty. Greetings from Brazil!
Request noted thanks 😃

I love this so much! do more video like this pls heheh
Will do, thx for watching and we appreciate your feedback. 👍🙏
Great video. I would love to start up a photography hobby, but my aquarium hobby eats all my money....lol. Yes, please make a video about shooting an aquarium
Yup both of these hobbies are expensive if you do this on a high level, but still cheaper if your hobby would be the yachts 😃 Will do a video on the aquarium photo soon. 👍
Great job. Do you use One Shoot or Al Servo? Can you tell more about the tank size?
Thanks! I use one shot but its just like the tripod, up to personal preference. I would suggest try both ways and see what works best for you. Tanks are about 10x10x20 cm
thanks for this tutorial bro ! holla from malaysia !
Thanks for watching. Cheers!
I like the video, good luck for youu .
Thanks for the watching.
Great work
Glad you liked this.
More videos like this please
😃 👍
Yes please! Make a video on how to shoot aquariums and your aquarium subjects while removing any sort of distortion. I find that you have to be exactly perpendicular to the glass or else you get glass distortion in the camera.
Will cover the aquarium photo subject in our future episode. Easy distortions could be managed by the simple lens distortion removal, but it heavily depend on your lens how much the final image will be distorted.
nice shot bagged bimmer 7 series..
Good catch 😂 love that car..
What the hell O__O
Why didn't i think of that before?!
This is genius!
With 1 rock 2 rabbits!

Glad you like Tommy's photography! Good for an iphone screensaver, right?

it is nice to see you guys coming back! and i pretty sure gruber the betta is jealous because he isn't the photo model this time😂

I think your pictures look great can you do one on aquariums. I would like to take photographs to see the progress of my tank.
Thanks. Keep up the good work. 👍
We'll have a tank photo session video soon, stay tuned. 👍🏻
Thanks look forward to it. 🤗

A less expensive option for the 100 macro is either the Tokina or the Tamron for Canon. I've shot Nikon for years, and compared the Nikon 105 to the Tamron 90 and the Tokina 100. Image quality is practically indistinguishable. I sold my Nikon Macro and stayed with the Tokina. Just a suggestion, everyone's perception of a lens can be pretty subjective. I know some people just want the same name on the lens as is on the camera. It's all good.
Thanks for the video, great tips!
Thanks for your suggestions. They are great. We have a lot of Sigma and Tamron too on our range, but for macro we're using a canon macro. But you're right 👍 we cut short the vid and has less time for an explanation like this one.
Very nice fish Betta . 😁🔔😃
😍 👍
I know nothing at photography, I find it complicated to me, but I find your picture beautiful !
Thanks for your feedback Claire 😉
I just got my first betta yesterday a double tail red and blue with some violet on its head. I took a little video. How can I share it on this post ?
You need to upload that to RUclips
thx
You're welcome!
Thanks for this. What's the aperture setting so that i can make sure, it is focused wherever it goes?
I think it's in the video, it changes, around f8?
what setup do you do for printing it and the paper quality. Actually my images look nice on desktop screen but dull when i print
We print it in a printing house.
Can you share some pictures of bettas for wallpapers tamas please?Your shoot is stunning!
Hello!
U can find lot of betta pictures on his page: facebook.com/TamasDanyikoPhotography/

@@GreenAquaShop thank you so much tamas 🙂
I hope you make a video about photography a terrarium
Thanks for the idea, noted! Cheers.
Guys, just check some Youngnuo or Godox flashes with wireless triggers, with HSS you can get way shorter times than 250, even off camera
Hi can you make a video telling us how you shoot aquariums?
We have this on our list now as we see many request about it 👍
try with a something silver / reflective and put it on the tank drown it ,
so it works as a bouncer from the bottom of the tank ; I think it will make pop even more ;D
Thanks for the suggestion 👍
Please make a video for how to create photo shoot for aquarium competitions
Thanks for your feedback, we will do that in our future vid for sure 😃
cool content
Tamás :>
Thank you 🙏 💚
Green Aqua I’m always into the behind the scenes, you can see the beauty of the hard work and knowledge behind it.
💪🤓
Thanks my friend, since our goal is to educate our viewers this will not change in the future too 😃
Hello there, can you pls show the Betta tank setup in the video in detail.
This is more like a rack for the fish. We have one filter behind the glass which filters every tank in the rack. So the filters are centralized here. Not a fancy setup, but works pretty well.
@@@GreenAquaShop
Thanks for your reply, but I just curious to see the working of that setup up close & by the way keep up the good work 🤗, you are really inspiring people.
Nice Video. One question here - what is the filter system used in the tank below the betta stand?
Thank you, we do have a filter behind the betta stand. So this is invisible from the front. But that filter operates the whole betta rack. You may can see that on the video how the water moves from one side to the other in every tank.
@@GreenAquaShop actually my question is not about the filter on the betta tanks. I am seeing some water flow in two tanks that are placed below the betta stand. Is that a separate tank for fishes or it is a sump tank?
Those are separate tanks mainly for shrimps and nano fishes
@@GreenAquaShop yeah what the filter on that shrimp tank?
HMF on all of them using a high performance air turbine
Could you make a video about shooting photo's with an android phone?
Added in mobile photography to the list, will see what we can do 😃
oh try killifish, Aphyosemion, Diapteron, etc, you'll have fun too !
Thanks for the idea!
Nice but wheres the link discription for these product?
Cheers, we only post links for builds and similar videos.
How is I use 12 pro max
I take macro photos of bettas from my mobile but i notice that my lighting is very hard . And i cant work with the settings you recomend . Hope you make a video about capturing from a mobile
Noted! Cheers!
@@GreenAquaShop hope you make the video soon. I use the apexel 12 24 x macro lens with redmi note 8 pro
Guys... Tommy... When are you going to give a tutorial about photograpging aquariums? I could use that tutorial 😄
Will think about it. Tommy will have a new scaping video in the coming days. Will see if we can fit the photography topic in the upcoming weeks 👍
@@GreenAquaShop ❤️ that would be great 😊 also watched Victors lightroom tutorial, was a bit hard to follow since it was spoken in native language but with the subtitles on was managing to get a little bit out of it.. Why I mention this is cause photography goes hand in hand with scaping and since there has already been a few phototopics on your videos (that are great btw) it seems there could be a serie of videos regarding that and I think they will be appreciated by all scapers... We all love to shoot our tanks.. 98% of my phones photos are of aquariumlife and scape 😆😂🙈
Thank you for your time and content you guys/girls produce ❤️
Aquagirls rock! 🤘🏻
Cheers Marita! Thanks for watching our older videos too!
