'Rocket' Rod Silva Tribute

  • Before the likes of RTS, there was 'Rocket' Rod Silva. One of my favourite players growing up. The original 'Hot Stepper', Rod Silva played fullback for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters from 1988 to 1994. Here's my tribute to him.

      Played center 91-94 until Gus Gould came in 1995 and shifted him to the back row.

      @@tiger832 It was at the start of 95 when Gould arrived. Gus wanted Darren Junee as his fullback so Silva was on the way out. Not sure if Silva had signed with Super League at that time yet or not. That could have contributed. Silva went on to win the GF with the Bulldogs that year. Good on him.
