Oh I tried with the edges and it doesn't cut through. Unless you have a super sharp knife an press WAYYYY to hard it won't go through. Also the marks will be covered up with the diamonds
You can draw a straight line on the parchment paper with a ruler and a pencil along the bottom of a row where diamonds go, then lift the paper slightly and use scissors to cut along the line you drew.
I’m pretty heavy handed and have accidentally cut things with an exacto knife before from pressing too hard. The canvas i’m working on though doesn’t seem to be cut at all :)
Also if your drills are really staticy and sticking to the bag or sides of your containers just cut a small peice of a dryer sheet and put with the diomonds. Removes the static
I have one of these at school and it's like the ocean and it also comes with dinosaurs and like frogs and animals I have a frog one on my water battle and it's a sticker too
The white paper is called parchment paper, it is mostly use for baking / cooking so the food doesn't stick. it works good on diamond paintings too, so no dust or stuff sticks to it
Just so u know (I think) u dont need the white paper or parchment paper cause most of the time it comes with a clear piece of paper that u take off a bit whenever u do diamond painting so u don’t need that.
My cat Beau has an attraction to the diamond placer pens. I have to hide mine or he will take off with it and I will find it later under the sofa, under the fridge or behind furniture. He’s a caution!

I always let it on the diamond painting and cut sections out of it
Wait but there may be different colors in the section
Unless you have multiple little trays to put the Diamonds on so that you can do multiple colors

just get release paper. No cutting and thats its purpose.
