I built that kit a few years ago, very nice. The Tour de Corse rally is a tarmac rally and only use slick tyres back then, plus stiff and lower suspension unlike dirt which have treadedtyres and soft suspension and cars sit higher, I used to get involved in rallying in the early 80's with a MK 2 escort so am a bit nerdy with it :) enjoy
Nice Rally Car! Should be a good one when done. A buddy of mine’s son has a Toyota GR Corolla and I’d love to build a model of it for him. But the only one is an Aoshima and it retails around $160! 😢 I think you’re right, BG will certainly appreciate your idea for the Skyline. Peace and love.
Both kits look like they'll be awesome builds Jason. I'm glad that you're branching out and trying weathering on your builds. Good luck with both of them. Tom S.
Nice Kit Jason! I also have this Hasegawa version, as well as the Revell version. It's perhaps my favorite rally car ever, and I remember seeing it racing in the Rally in Portugal, back in the 80s. The slick tires are correct because they were used on asphalt roads, like in the 1984 Tour de Corse Rally. I also have for this Hasegawa kit as PE upgrade parts from Studio27, PN is ST27-FP2434B 1400.
Looking forward to following both these builds!

Thanks for the info my friend!!
Going to be fun building those kits Jason, thanks for sharing.
Super cool idea for BG. That Rally kit is sweet, have fun with both!
All I can say is awesome. I think BG will like that particular build. Great idea.
I think so too!
Nice group build Jason.
Nice kits, in joy building them 😎😁
Very cool kits. Have a great weekend!!
Thanks! You too!
Nice looking kit.
That looks like an amazing kit maybe the slick tires are to give it the look of movement when its on display 🤔. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Cool kits.
Nice stash add! Cool choice for the BG build. I think he'll like the story that goes with it.
I hope so!
Congrats on the Lancia kit. Should make for a cool build.
Fantastic add to the stash! Oh man BG is going to love that. I love the fact you are weathering things up man.
Thanks 👍

Hey Jason great video! I’ve been eyeing that same Skyline kit at my Hobbytown. I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
Thank you!!
It's the road/tarmac rally version. ie - slick tires.
