While it wasn’t graded in prior years, Acuity has now said that the video portion IS graded. I didn’t know about this change till now. “So that there is no confusion, we want to re-iterate that the quartile score an applicant receives reflects a combined score from both the video response and typed response sections of the test.” forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/casper-2023-2024-scoring.1480724/#:~:text=Scoring%20for%202023%2F2024%3A,their%20assessments%20of%20the%20quartiles.
This is so real man. I prepared the day of my exam and besides being familiar with the formatting it is SO important to actually take the practice because the questions go a lot faster than expected, especially on the spoken portion. Also, something I found incredibly helpful during the exams is understanding the core competencies that CASPER seeks in responses. I ended up scoring in the 4th quartile. Watching RUclips tips such as this one also helped me feel a lot more confident in facing the exam so thank you and good luck to anyone planning on taking it!
how do you answer 3 questions in 5 minutes? could you actually type that fast because Im usually able to get the answer of 1 question through and I don't think I could type any faster. any tips?
I’d say it’s a good structure for both, but definitely make sure you’re answering the question! Sometimes it’s easy to ramble on when you’re trying to hit so many points.
nice,
also wanted to ask, how do you know the video section isn't marked?

Bro, 90-100 wpm makes you on the 95th percentile for typing speed lol. I can barely do 80 wpm.
Was the format you listed the only one you used for the typed responses?
