  • Kazi Faisal Bin Seraj, the Country Representative of The Asia Foundation in Bangladesh, recently commended the impactful role that Oporajita has had in improving conditions for women working in the garment industry across Bangladesh at the learning dissemination event for the Bunon 2030 initiative.
    The event was held as part of the Bunon 2030 initiative and was co-hosted by LightCastle Partners and Policy Exchange Bangladesh. The Bunon 2030 initiative is a part of the H&M Foundation's “Oporajita: Collective Impact on the Future of Work in Bangladesh” project, aiming to empower Bangladeshi women garment workers in the face of increasing automation, circularity, and decarbonization, LDC Graduation, among other challenges. Oporajita is a collaborative initiative comprised of 11 partner organizations, including three core funding partners.
