    2:58 my father in law left me all of his tools and tools boxes. For years this tool was always a mystery to me. Thanks to your viewers I now know it's a fuse puller. There's a small drawer with fuses and other electronics so now it's going to its proper drawer.

    The blue handle thing is a wire stripper for different size wire. the bottom part holds the wire and the top blade cuts the wire and pulls the cut part off,. They do a great job. Good haul.

      Can you tell I’m not a master electrician 😂 And those pliers are perfect for dopes like me who can’t just strip wire with the blades on a linesman. Thanks for watching

    Drill doctor sharpens worn and broken drill bits makes them new again there is a chuck that sits in the top that holds the bit and you turn the chuck as it runs to sharpen the end of the drill bit

    The gray pliers thing is a cartridge fuse puller.
    The sparky things are called a striker for igniting an acetylene torch.

      @jackof1  Год назад

      Thanks! I think I’ll reserve the sparky strikers for lighting bonfires & other irresponsible uses 😂

    That is a machinist chest. The pliers with tape was probably to hold smaller things and not scratch what he was working on. My guess.

    Believe it or not, the old electronics still do sell on eBay depending on what they are. Usually $5-20 a pop. You can sell lots of old extension cords or power strips too.

    This tool chest belonged to an electronics prototyping technician based on the tools which included a 30 gage wire stripper used for wire-wrapping and the AN soft jaw pliers used for removing circular connectors from military electronics boxes. One of the drawers looked like it had crimp terminal insertion/extraction tools. The Xcelite tools are a dead giveaway. I wrote this before you pulled the pics and Lockheed Martin Sanders I’d.

    You're missing the insert part that holds the drill bit for the drill doctor. They are alright, I used to own one, but they aren't accurate which is why some guys don't prefer them. It's basically garbage. Looking forward to your next video.
