Jesus Christ. The lack of organization really pisses me off 😂 Honestly I think the wrenches drawers might be the best of the box. Depending on brand and if you have complete sets, those could be worth some good money.
you need to empty all of each item into separate piles on the floor then sort size ,1/4 " 3/8 " 1/2 "six point twelve point and so on then return after a good cleaning the extra items are handy when you need to customize a wrench for a job
I saw the other video first, that showed you paid $8k, but then I wanted too see the rest of the contents. You got a good deal; personally I believe it was a better than fair deal, A steal of a deal is what I saw on FB marketplace last year; similar box full of tools, $600. Divorce sale, it was listed under one hour before it flew.
8:28.. inner tie rod tool..looks like you have 2 of them.. this stlye uses a cam system to grab the inner tie rod like a stud remover does..they work well...
Just the box is crazy big and worth. Good money and the tools are worth. Thousand especially their a lot of snap on and what not snap o n is good quality plus all them matters. No wonder they had to bring it you o n a roll. Back.
Some tools are used daily while many tools are needed only once or twice in an entire career and others are used not even once. Used tools and toolboxes are only worth a small fraction of what is paid for them. They are often sold for salvage value by the executor of the estate just to get rid of them so the building can be sold, especially when the executor is from another State and only present for a few days to clear out the property.
A few years back, I spent $15K to build a board-level electronics repair lab. Accordingly, I cannot imagine the worth of your box let alone what you paid for it. That stated, with the brand names of the sockets and wrenches, I could provide a ballpark figure. For example, their is a humongous price difference between Ko-ken and Pittsburg tools.
The Mac taskmasters were expensive back in the day I got mine for 1500 brand new when I graduated school does all obd1 and obd2 you can no longer update them but can use them on global obd2 still. It was back when know one made a cheap scan tool now a cheap innovia has as much function on their 150 scan tool. I have 6 different scan tools to be able to do all I do. Some can access different things than others I have one for abs and airbags and sas ect when doing alignments. Each one I have will all do global obd2 but then each one has special functions for other modules. It’s crazy how for 150 now you get more functions than 1500 in the early 2000s but I still use mine sometimes just because it was so expensive
The box and the snap on torque wrench with a few other Mac anti vibe hammers but since you don’t seem to know about them I’ll buy them all for like $300 seeing Mac and Marco and snap on all over the place even some cornwell… idk what you paid but that’s an absolute steal if you paid even close to box cost and got all that with it
It seems like you bought the box a/o ever reviewing its contents first…? I would’ve gone through the box in great detail before pulling the trigger, regardless of it came from a “good friend.”
Someone who wanted to get rid of it would probably sell it for 5 grand. Especially if he took it as payment for a debt and had no sentimental attachment to it..
I’ll bet money there’s a lien on that box and possibly on those tools, hence why you got it cheap….. i’ve seen this many times, and people get wrecked after they thought they got a deal and a bailiff shows up with the tool truck dealer. good luck.
a man's life laid bare
Hours of enjoyment going through that lot.
Very nice….jealous lol
Some " great friend " tool all good power tools and chargers all good ratchets complete sets of sockets pliers etc etc u got ripped dude...
I've always loved how auto mechanics all speak of "...I got a good deal". All of them.

If it was more organized. There be more space in the massive box. Very nice. I’m sure it was worth what you gave for it.

Has to be over $15k right? My one swivel extended 1/2" ratchet wrench is a couple hundred dollars 😂
Hood win for ya! Whomever sold it, was a massive slob though.
One handed work is frustrating to watch
how much did you paid for the whole thing? dont lie :D
Awesome but let us in on the price. 😂
I posted another video about the price 🙌
These tools are worth thousands.
Socket video and wrench video
Just posted one
How hard up do you have to be to give away all your tools to pay a debt. Jesus lads times are tough for folks.
