Thank you! I have a 2023 Sun Tracker Party Barge 22 XP3 and I want to install a Lowrance HDS-7 Live, this video was PERFECT! Thank you for putting this together and sharing your tips! The only thing I still need to do is figure out where I want to mount the screen, I do like where you put yours so that's definitely something to think about.

Thanks for the video. I have 2023 Sun Tracker 22 XP3 SportFish and installed a Garmin 9”. Some tips that I used. I bought 45’ fiberglass wire running (bit flimsy), 1.75” round grommet for back oval hole. 3/8” split wire loom. 7/8 grommet (w/ 4 flap in center) for power and transducer wire hole in fiberglass. Used a 8” piece of an aluminum fish net handle ( can use pvc at 7/8 internal diameter) to push between wire bundle and feed transducer wire up through the floor. Such a tight fit to get hands in there to feed cable by hand. Mounted screen on a RAM short mount in front of throttle. I maxed throttle to insure clearance. For drilling I placed masking tape used 7/8 step bit and 1/4 bit (in reverse to start pilot hole). You don’t have to but I did. Bought 1/16 rubber sheets (for mount vibration cushion and 1/16 stainless steel plate same diameter as RAM mount base. Matched the mounting holes and used as more stable washer. To secure bolts I used vise grips on nuts underneath as I screwed bolts (by myself), Be easier with two people. It came out looking good and with the mount I can fold it towards steering wheel IOT cover the boat. Most item bought on Amazon.

Thanks! I have the exact same boat. I especially appreciated showing where those screws were that hold the carpeted board under the console. When I installed the power anchors I had a hell of a time reaching around that damned thing. Other than that, love my Fishin Barge XP3.

How it work is you put in your info and what you need. They will either quote you or tell you to call (through email) because they couldn’t find what you needed. You will call the number and it may be busy, you know getting a busy signal when you call. Eventually you will get through and you tell them what you need and they will tell you if they have it in stock or not. That’s what I went though anyways. You might be able to get one through like a bass pro shop or cabelas as well.
