    Natural weathering and plant growth can also cause cracks in the stone.

      I was hesitant to ask.
      It’s a major issue here and costs billions of pounds per year to repair and never being done.
      I think there’s a way to stop it from happening in the first place (?)
      Maybe to prevent rain water to seep into the ground?

    So after millions of years of rocks being cracked by water.. it thought the best course of action was for it to crack our windshield to pass the pain along 😞

      The rocks get their revenge by getting turned into asphalt and then creating potholes by the very same frost action weathering. They don’t just go for the windshield. they can go for the shocks!
