ENRP (Ei Niin Reipas Poika) eng. "Not So Upright Boy" is a former UB (United Brotherhood), an actual criminal gang member. He's been convicted of aggravated drug crime, accused of attempted murder but was convicted of endangerment.
There is some roadman and gangsta-culture here in Finland too. And lot of wannabe-gangsters and tough guys too. I suppose that real criminals do not make videos about their intentions. Have you were seen rap-video made by Hells Angels (or CIA, FSB or Shell)?
Your view of criminals, or what crime is is childlike. Not all criminals are some organized groups. For most of us, crime is common and daily and revolves around dope. Its not a way to make a lot of money, but a way to make ends meet or simply a necessity of the lifestyle. Nobody is stupid enough to directly indicate themselves in lyrics. The lyrics are mostly about references to the lifestyle and about the lifestyle. But in Finland, because majority is so submissive they can't believe that people actually live outside the norm.
@@Nobody-Nowhere I understand your point. I admit that I didn't think of nearly all possible contexts for that type of music when I wrote the post. What is criminal is defined by the majority of society, different times and different societies have different norms. For example, in the so-called Viking Age in Iceland, killing a man was a crime (i.e. you could become an outlaw) only if you hid it. Well, in any case, I can't always consider the necessary actions of those deliberately pushed outside of society to be actually criminal, even if they technically are. My grandma had a saying; the poor steal for necessity (and although it was not said out loud, the assumption was that the rich steal even when it is not necessary for extreme need). It is sad that society pushes some human rights outside and forces them, for example, into the dope trade. It is also understandable that it arouses bitterness and anger, and the dignity that the double moralists from within society want to take away is also brought up excessively. For those pushed outside of society, the so-called criminal lifestyle is a necessity, the glorification and admiration of the criminal lifestyle in itself is mostly bothersome. Many young people mistakenly consider the so-called criminal lifestyle to be noble and gallant, to be aspired to. The same thing with soldiers, there is nothing beautiful and heroic about war in itself, war is just killing and sheer waste of life and resources even if sometimes necessary. The same with the dope trade, it destroys the makers of the trade, the users of the substances and eats the whole community. ALTHOUGH it would be necessary for survival.Well, these things don't seem to change easily. Especially in the United States, whose entire culture is originally built on the basis of genocide, slavery and violence, and where, due to poor education and ideological upbringing, you cannot distinguish socialism from communism, there are such cultural defects that it is probably impossible to solve them quickly.
