Jenny Pham so funny. in Jamaica we have people from all over the world that are Jamaicans. our motto is out of many we are one. I thought Asians have the same mentality.
Natasha in order for your comment to make any sense, Asia would have to be an entire country and not a continent. Seeing as Asia is indeed a continent, comparing it to Jamaica is absurd. Seonkyoung is Korean and OP is Vietnamese. These are two entirely different countries with entirely different cuisines and cultures.
Hi SKL, i really love the way you siad "pho ga". i'm vietnamese and i really proud of that. And i asked my mom for traditional recipe, my mom said that the traditional way to cook pho ga is braise chicken's bone in at least 3 or 4 hour and then, you will have a delicious chicken broth and not have to use sugar to make it sweeter. And we don't have shallot fried in traditional recipe. we only use lime leaf and green onion in this recipe. Btw, thanks you so much to make this recipe. Love you
Mrs. Longest sooo beautiful how you embrace Asian cuisine from different parts of Asia. You are beautiful from the inside and out! Love your Korean braised short-ribs to this beautiful delicious Vietnamese pho! You really adorn these recipes with appreciation and respect, such a beautiful person🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸
I made this for dinner tonight and it was amazing. Just like our favorite viatnamese restaurant. Thank you so much Seonkyoung! Your recipes are amazing and so are you!
I love your hair!!! My 3 years old daughter always ask me to watch your videos with her. She said she wants to be a chef one day, she always copy you and say Asian at home!! Btw I love pho and yours looks amazing, I will try to make it one day. This is a perfect dish eaten through out the whole year!!!
Oh Seon I just had this for the first time ever, I have pneumonia and my son ordered this dish for me and he lives in a different town than I do. I told him I have to learn how to make this soup. It was sooooo good. and it has made me feel better. Thanks for teaching ...
You are so adorable! I am Vietnamese in love with Korean food so I've been watching and learning from you. It is very interesting whenever you do Vietnamese dishes. Thank you for loving my country's food!
My all time favorite soup. I prefer the thinly sliced beef (steak) though with lots of greens and chilies. Bad day? have some Pho and and it's all good. Thanks for sharing Seonkyoung.
Seonkyoung, you my dear are like a fine wine; you just keep getting better and better!!!! Thank you for the time and effort you put into these wonderful cooking videos!!!! I will be making this dish this week. Thanks again!!!!
YUM. Made this today and it's very good. I used leftover rotisserie (shredded meat) and the bones for broth (8hrs). I'll make it again in a few weeks with leftover turkey. Thank you!
You can absolutely leave out ALL those herbs, serve it with some green onion and cilantro, bean sprouts is optional, then add a few drops of lime juice, that's how we enjoy Phở Gà in Hà Nội. I'm sooooo happy to find fish sauce in your recipe, I've seen some ppl use soy sauce instead and I was like wth???
Thanks for guiding me through my first attempt at making pho at home. Turned out great! Now I'm inspired to try other variations. Definitely keeping this recipe in my rotation.
Omg!! that looks so delicious. I have eaten this soup(pho) at a restaurant, It was so good,I never knew it was so easy to make..Thank you for sharing this dish...awesome video Seonkyoung!!
Be a Vietnamese, I really love eating Pho Ga and I also like how you made it. I'll try this recipe one day and share with you my result. Thanks for your video.
What a great rendition of pho. Incredibly complete from roasting spices and vegetables to demonstration of how to eat pho properly without risk of being considered rude. I think you're ready for your own cooking show ! Thank you for this healthy recipe
OMG!! your the first video that i have EVER ACTUALLY felt like I could taste what you just created!!! Thank you again for the vid, it left me inspired to "try something new" 💜💜💜
I recently subscribed to your channel, because I have been dying to learn how to cook Asian food and shop at an Asian market (I usually get lost and just end up buying several different packs of Ramen and sweets). This recipe sounds so easy to do, and I can't wait to try it! Also your accent is freaking adorable. :)
Thank you very very much. I bought all of the items that I didn't have and made my first bowl of soup. It tasted so authentic and I actually liked the extra strong Taste of the Star anise seed and the cinnamon thank you so much! I wish I could send you a picture. It tastes just like I visited the Vietnamese restaurant

I made this and it was awesome..reminded me of my Vietnamese restaurants in SF. My broth was not clear like your video, but a little more color. Not cloudy, never touched the pot while it was boiling. My broth looked like the Pho restaurants. Thank you for this recipe:)
Seonkyoung, this looks so delicious!!! We simply cannot wait to try it! Thank you so much for this recipe! As a side note, absolutely love what you're wearing in the video and your hair looks amazing! Thank you again!

I've looked around for two days for the perfect Pho Ga recipe to to do in my kitchen and this has got to be my favourite one. I saw some people add black cardamom and coriander seeds to the spices and added daikon to the broth so I'll try adding that too and see how it goes I guess
Wow the recipe looks so easy and so delicious, thank you very much and keep up the excellent work and presentation videos. I now have a good visual idea of the soup!
My mouth is actually watering at 2am for this Pho! I love that recipes aren't complicated 😋 I can't wait make this tomorrow! I've been binge watching your video's...your food...your personality is absolutely amazing 👏😍 ❤ Thank you so much ❤ xo hydie
Ur family is so blessed to have you in their lives. I've been watching your videos for about a month & I love ❤️ them going to try this today when I get up. I'm a night owl 🦉 lol I love staying up late , & I love ❤️ cooking . I've went & bought that cooking wine you were talking about I found it. I can't wait to try and make this the later on today when you were frying up your onions at the end of the video are you using white onions or yellow onions because I would like to make them fresh also I am like you I would rather cook them fresh myself I just wanted to tell you you are very beautiful and very delightful and a pleasure to watch and I pray the best for you in your life ❤️
It's shallot not white onion . You need to thinly slice them then let them dry for 1-2 hours( add a pinch of salt to draw out the water to bring the sweetness from the shallot). In a cast iron pan with cooking oil ( canola or corn oil ) brings it to a boil and put those thinly slice shallot opinion in . Stirs the onion until it turns slightly brown then remove them from the oil . It's important that you time perfectly, else the shallots turned dark brown and it will taste bitter.
one of my favorite meals. I'm craving so badly now, OMG! I find if you leave onion skin on, which I do when making bone broth, it imparts a nice color. thankyou again. I save all your reciped
This is the first time I see a foreigner that can cook Vietnamese pho almost perfectly like you did. I'm so excited to watch more videos of you.
+Jenny Pham ❤️
Cảm thấy hổ thẹn vì nhờ video của chị ấy mới biết được một số tips :((
