Sunroof ruins the double bubble roofline that was iconic to the FD design and very intentional with the original design studies. The design looked to pull the body in to minimize mass as much as possible. A sunroof is the antithesis of the design intent. I suggest Jack Yamaguchi’s book about the FD for a thorough presentation of the design process that led to the technical marvel that was the 3rd gen RX7.
