- Street Rodder Magazine taps Honest Charley Garage to build their flagship car for the 2013 Street Rodder Road Tour. The toughest part of the build so far kicks the guys in the stomach. The high-tech Ford EcoBoost® twin turbo V6 and monster 6-Speed SelectShift Automatic® Transmission have to be shoe-horned into the old shoebox. Easier said, than done. EcoBoost generates 90 percent of its amazing 420 lb.-ft. of torque from 1,700 to 5,000 rpm, so this install has to be strong in addition to making it all fit in limited space of a 60 year old car.

had a friend put 57 olds MTR in a54 Ford was quite a machine.
my normal aspirated 4.3 gen 5 chevy v6 is a badass. Of course they are ditching it
Steve Wyatt, GM discontinued it because it was a POS.
nice to see they kept it all ford
Hermoso y excelente modificación muy lindo Ford....
ehhh. you can always swap it out later. it sounds pretty radical though as it is. kindof a new school meets old school type project
What's up with Keith urban? I didn't know he moonlighted as a gear head.
Why not move the engine forward a few inches?
guys ever hear of a sawzall ? cuts clean !
You should always blank off any air intake, put a plastic cover on that throttle body.
Good decision not putting a 350 in it to many people seem to follow what every one else is doing.

Agreed..Ever since the Mustang became the most hotrodded car since the late 80s,there are tons of Ford power plants you can get cheap on the salvage market and the 4.6 liter lasts forever. When puts Ecoboost in the Coyote 5.0,that is going to be a mean, mean motor from stock.
Enjoy the videos but the filler music is WAY TOO LOUD! Have to constantly adjust the volume between the talking parts.
good build. dont like miller comercials...
That engine will be pretty fast, but it looks like a basket of WORMS!
Wth, rock station down the dial. I'm trying to learn here.
Edit the volume please !!!!
We didn't see the finished car.
That makeshift engine bracket doesn't look fatigue-rated to me. I wonder who's doing the engineering here.
I'm with you, why do most in the states fear using a decent amount of steel
is the drummer beating a brick on the sidewalk
Sorry but that tunnel is way to big! Good luck dropping that trans out when it blows!
teach me ...please
Turn off the music please
Wastes way too much time on basic craft
man you guys repeated yourself so much
