got me one work great keep my living room nice and cold for heat wave we had
where does it drain
I was trying to figure that out too. I was afraid it was draining into my window sill. I see two overflow holes but the pan catches most of the water. As the coils heat up, the water condensate should evaporates (helping to cool the coils and make it more efficient). If you have high humidity, you'll probably see the condesate overflow. Just make sure you have a towel or pan to catch all the water when you take it down.
How about a tough question: this unit has a 1-7 temp dial unlike most. If its set on 7 (max cool) does it cycle on and off when the room reaches a cold temp? Or does it just run constantly keeping the room ice cold like the old school wood grain window unit we all wish were still around? Please advise.
I know this is a month late but it will shutoff when it reaches a certain temperature.
Well I have the exact same one with the "old skool" dial and it does NOT cycle off,it stays on and I either lay there and freeze or get up to turn it down lol
I just bought one of these, so far I'm very happy with it, on max settings it cools very well, even during an extreme heat wave with brutal humidity. But I have a question I can't find an answer to; I don't see a vent switch/knob anywhere, when it's on fan, is it in fact bringing in air from outside?
What's your room size and how hot it gets during heatwaves in your town?
Would this air conditioner be able to fit in a 22 inch width window?
Yes
Okay for this air conditioner did you get it from Walmart and does it come with the slide holder that you put on the window with it
It comes with a metal strip that you screw to the top of the unit and it stays just inside the window sash to keep it in place so it does not fall out.
144.00 at Walmart 2024.
I was wondering if you know this air conditioner comes with the slide holder with it or is it sold separately
@@richardcrows7245 Not sure what you mean by side holder. It comes with everything he showed. Sorry I could not help.
My Dea, not Medea
